This article is really amazing. Evidently Congress people can legally use information they get from inside knowledge of business conditions to base their investments. Talk about legalized immorality. I remember hearing about this little Congressional perk a while ago. And then there is always the easy access to bribes contributions from lobbyists and their employers that Congress people enjoy. Add in the more mundane bennies like super healthcare and a sweet retirement program, not to mention a pretty decent salary and the power to grant themselves a raise or even better benefits whenever they feel like it and you have the makings of a privileged class. And they are supposed to be representing us.
I'd have some head to the Congress, and some to the Insurance Industry too... they've been fleecing (must be my "word of the week" lol) the public for decades... and no one seems to care. I really don't understand how we let them do that to us.
The corporate right would just say this is "good business", and great conversation for the golf course.

I thought Boner was in charge now. Why waste time on Pelosi? Isn't it the Republicans who should be leading the charge for change here? I'm sure that every good Republican is shocked and appalled by this situation.
I think he's an acquaintance of the guy with the red nose. And why aren't he and his party raising Hell about this? They are in charge of the House after all.
Why doesn't anyone in Congress raise hell about anything these days? I don't see anyone chastising Pelosi. Of course, it was all legal...
