In Taiwan, I'd probably have gone to prison for other reasons, like cooking the uncooked food they tried to serve me, kicking the servers asses when they tried to stop me from cooking that food, frequenting all the $2 hookers I could find, etc.

 

From what I hear, even a modest American income will let you live like a king in Taiwan, or was that Thailand?... Whatever lol

In regard to the OP...only poor people generally go to prison. Massive amounts of wealth seem to alleviate that pesky prison problem for this generation of corporate rapists (most of them time). Moral of the story? Get rich...you can break whatever law you like!

...IMO, they (the super-rich) are the root cause of the economic problems we face today. They ingrained themselves into politics decades ago, especially under Reagan. He was a puppet, manipulated from within his own cabinet. It's always been that way, from the first President on, but since Reagan, the dismantling of our economic system became a priority. Like they needed more money and power, they already had it all! ...so, jokes on THEM! lol

What you seem to fail to understand is that their plans, some enacted decades ago, are the main reason we're in a recession today, and that we shouldn't be following those plans.

But, the truth is that POTUS's will continue to follow their advice despite the stupidity of it all because it's become too ingrained in our society to remove easily. The majority of the American people would be unwilling to remove what they view as a solid system, even as it causes their jobs to be lost and their homes to be auctioned off. They are pretty dumb that way LOL
