I'm going to respond to your post but I fully expect this to become the part of the discussion where you stop responding, change the subject or go off on one of your incoherent, senseless rants.... I've never said anything about denying others care or even remotely anti-healthcare. I simply asked why I shouldn't be afforded the personal freedom to make healthcare decisons for myself. If you want to join the gov't program, go for it. But why should I be forced to join? It's really a simple question but as I've pointed out before, this is the question that the socialists (yes, I said socialists) refuse to answer. It would be refreshing, tom, if you would give a lucid answer to this very direct question.
Well Davey, you know I've asked you to answer directly (as have others) on many an occasion and you have failed on many an occasion. So for myself, when it comes to responding to you, I rarely take you seriously, and when I do choose to answer you (which admittedly I often won't), I often answer in the vague, exaggerated, moronic fashion you afford myself (and others). But I'll make you a deal here. You answer ONE direct, non evasive, simple, honest question for me, and I'll do the same. Fair enough? My question. Were the black boxes for all the flights on 9/11 found, (yes or no) and, how many were there supposed to be? We'll call it an even exchange of information, or you can go on posting your OP's and I'll mine as well (with respect to you). Ball's in your court Buckwheat if you want to serve. Refresh me.
Nothing whatsoever. I thought I explained myself quite clearly above. Why don't you let the boy answer himself? Or you could answer is (even though I know you won't). He wants my answer on Health care and I want an answer to an old question. Thought it might be a positive gesture but, feel free to spin as you do best
Oh, no! More conspiracy theories... I'd like to see a thread on your conspiracy theories, Tom. But, when you present a theory, please also present evidence to the contrary.
All of the black boxes were found and are being held at various FEMA camps located around the country but the government covered up some of the black boxes being found and lied about what was on the others that they did admit to finding because all of the black boxes showed that Bush was remote controlling all the planes except for the plane that hit the pentagon because that wasn't a plane and was instead a missile which the video evidence clearly shows that Cheney rode all the way into the Pentagon before jumping off of it which clearly refutes the official story that he was in a hidden bunker. And that is why all the animals are dying in such large groups. Illuminati Unite!
Dang, didn't have to be a psychic to predict this answer, did you? Here's the thing tom, you are such a big baby (among other things) when it comes to 9/11 that you can not accept the fact that people just don't agree with your delusions, err, I mean conclusions. Just because people don't agree with you doesn't mean they haven't read up on the subject, it means they just have a different interpretation of the "evidence" that's out there. Now, I have answered every single question you have posed to me on the subject but unfortunately you haven't been willing to do so yourself. The truth is that you just haven't agreed with my answers and you use that as a dodge to answer direct questions in every other thread on this forum. But I digress. Rather than having tom hijack this thread how about we keep this one on track & tom, please answer my healthcare question. Feel free to pose any question you wish in the appropriate thread and I will, as I have always done, give you an answer.
Answer it in the appropriate thread then Davey boy. It's a real basic question, not really open to interpretation genius.
Okay, tom, I have answered your question in the other thread. Now will you be able to exhibit the same character & answer the questions posed to you in this thread?
Well let's see. I um...THINK...you wouldn't have to participate if you didn't want to. I THINK they've found all the bugs in legislation. The point is simply because you don't like the legislation, bad legislation it makes not.
Whatever you think, a Federal Judge has ruled it unconstitutional... So, I THINK that makes it bad legislation...
I absolutely expected that you either would not or could not answer the question. You are a spineless coward who enjoys shooting off at the mouth but never has the backbone or the ability to back it up. Typical of you & your kind tom, so very typical.
I wonder what it is about 129 million people with pre-existing conditions losing their insurance and 30 million people being unable to buy insurance that makes the Right wingers so happy?
Dr Moen, perhaps would be willing to address the issue your little sidekick runs from? I'm all for people having insurance but why does BO want to force people into his program?
No you didn't. I asked you to elaborate on something specific to a thread in which you have actively participated. You wanted me to answer a question on a subject that you are obsessed with, on a subject that I have not actively participated. It was really a very simple question I asked & one that you should be readily able to answer. The difference is the lack of character you exhibited.
I don’t usually reply to your posts because you pretty much spend 99% of your efforts bomb throwing and labeling. Why waste my time right? But since you asked a question in a somewhat civil manner, I’ll play this once. Nobody is forced into any “program” government or otherwise. What this law creates is a pool of people that wouldn’t be able to purchase insurance under the current for-profit system either because they have pre-existing conditions or they are simply priced out of the market. This pool of people is distributed among the various private insurance companies and must pay according to their income. Right now, these people and the millions that are added every year wait until they are sick, show up at a hospital and we pay for it anyway. It seems to me that the people carping about this the most are either already on Medicare or already have health insurance and will not be affected by this consideration anyway. This seems to me like everything the Right harps about anyway. People are forced to pay something, according to their means, for private insurance so we as tax payers don’t have to pay for them. What’s wrong with that?
So, if I hear you correctly, I will still have the personal freedom to opt-out of any & all insurance plans if I so desire?
"Nobody is forced into any “program” government or otherwise." Huh!?! You are subject to penalties if you don't have insurance. Just what is your definition of forced? "People are forced to pay something, according to their means........" Uhm That phrase.. kind . . of . . sounds . . familiar ? ? It did not work for the others who tried it, but you think it will work for us? If you change that phrasing a bit, you will have better luck - until they figure out just what you are really advocating.
You are not hearing me correctly. I said, and I can't be any clearer than this, if you already have insurance, you won't notice any changes. If you have a pre-existing condition or can't afford insurance you will be put in a pool and distributed among the various insurers and yes you have to pay something. Why should the rest of us have to pay for you if you decide not to buy insurance and then fall down the stairs? Why is this personal responsibility such a tough concept for you guys? You harp about it all the time. I don’t see anything wrong with forcing people to buy into a health care system they will eventually use anyway. We all know how insurance works right? The many support the few. All insurance works this way and this is no different. I am forced to buy insurance if I want to legally drive a car, yet 25% of people drive without insurance. Everyone uses health care at one time or another. If they choose to not pay into the system they are using, we all have to pay for them. I don’t like that idea. Do you?
