Too bad you didn't take a sick day for a book signing NEXT year because the government can then "take care" of you!! You know how "good" the government runs things...right??

Nah I think the right ran things so much better for almost a decade!! They did such a bang up job for wall street..I think they must be the only possible answer.

Sarah Palin is popular among white small town already conservative Anglo-Saxon Protestants because they are threatened by the thought that this country is actually becoming more multicultural and the dominant class of northern Europeans that have owned this country for over 200 years will lose their place at the top. I have news for them, it's already gone. When they bellyache that they want this country back, that is code for "we want to be the dominant class again". You know, I can feel sorry for these people to a point, but the only thing that is constant in this world is change and not wanting to change is its own reward. I hope that these people get their wish and Palin runs in 2012. She not only has no support beyond her miniscule base, she has negative nonsupport everywhere else in the country. Sorry the pretty white lady can’t give America back to you guys but maybe we can all move on after the drubbing of 2012.

Palin in '12 would be a nightmare......

She should stick to her conservative values and just do what she is doing. The conservative base is awake now, thanks to BO and the left. She can help from the sidelines , or hurt from the frontlines.

    Not ready for prime time.

C'mon....let her play. The Dems will be able to win with Charles Manson is she's the opponent. That's what's called a "lock" for the dems. Run Palin Run!

Hey Jack! Wishing I was in Arizona right about now.

I think that there are two distinctly different types of conservatives these days. The traditional fiscal Barry Goldwater conservatives and the hard-Right extremists who seem to be the lion's share of the Republican base these days but even unified represent less than 30% of the country.

Palin would split the party right down the middle and pretty much destroy the GOP. I can't really see any of us Democrats shedding a tear in that eventuality but those of us that think more voices are better than fewer realize that this isn't a good thing in the long run.

Now if as Moen says she would split the party would that be such a bad thing? After all we have been talking about the creation of a 3rd party so why not it might even attract the center right element from the Democratic party.
And yes I still like Sarah Palin :D

    Steve,

If the GOP were split into two different parties, they could only win elections under two circumstances. 1) If they formed a coalition which would essentially be the same as having one GOP party, or 2) If Democrats didn't turn out to vote.

BTW Sarah Palin is the world's most famous MILF. If that qualifies one to be president, the standards have been set far too low. What can you possible see in her?

Actually...she has a lot more work and executive experience than B.O. whose only experience and claim to fame is a "community organizer".

BTW...this clueless man is receiving the Noble peace prize today for doing absolutely NOTHING...NOTHING. Hell, he was nominated for these award less than two weeks into his presidency. Alfred Noble must be spinning in his grave.

But, I guesss if you can read a teleprompter well enough, that deserves a prize. Shouldn't we should all get "participation trophies" so we can feel good about ourselves....oh goody, goody, goody...I won!

What can you really say to someone who sees Sarah Palin as qualified to do anything much less sees her as president of the United States. There is just nowhere to go from that point. I'll talk about Obama instead.

I would like Obama to have had more experience than he had when he took office but he was a Harvard scholar, a published author (actually wrote his own books), he ran a pretty brilliant campaign, he had a couple of years in some rough and tumble Chicago politics as well as some US Senate experience, and there is really no training to be the POTUS. If you like experience in your presidents and you are honest with yourself, you have no other choice but to vote Barack Obama in 2012. So if I were you, I'd back off demanding experience unless you plan to vote Democratic in the next election. I think the time for this Republican talking point has past and you continue to use it at your own peril. God! I hope Palin runs as the GOP candidate in 2012.

Sarah was honored on SNL and she does have several weeks of work experience as the Governor of snow, ice and oil. Hell, most of the right still thinks Bush was a great President!!
Being able to read a teleprompter is an interesting change from what we'd gotten used to for almost a decade.
I'm confused though. Which was supposed to be the smarter candidate, The Ice Queen who quit or Richie Rich of prepaid Yale fame??

Man, give Moen & Obama a little time to adjust Obama's story and before long he'll be overqualified for the role he's playing!!

Well David, you know what they say; "Everybody has an opinion". Obama isn't Left-leaning enough for my tastes. Too much of a centrist you know. I think his second term will bring out the real Lefty in his personality once he is done cleaning up after the last idiots. Now that, I can look forward to.

And "NO" I don't think his is liberal enough!
