Casket, body stolen from cemetery January 15, 2013 Associated Press DETROIT (AP) — A casket containing the body of an elderly man has been stolen from a Detroit cemetery. Police said the casket was taken Monday morning from Gethsemane Cemetery on the city’s east side. No arrests have been made, but police say they have identified a person of interest. A van and a pickup truck may have been used in the theft. The funeral was held over the weekend, but burial was delayed due to soggy ground from recent rain. The casket had been placed in a mausoleum until it could be buried. Workers preparing to bury it Monday discovered the casket missing. Please tell me the guy's name was "Bernie". Please!

(shaking head) To this day, and despite this confirmation that Zombies are lurking about, there are still some people who simply refuse to believe that the Zombie Apocalypse is a real threat to America. They got lucky though, since it was only the Zombies that got apocalypse-a-sized....this time. They may not be so fortunate next time. Next time, something like Cheney or Putin could take control of the movement and then we're all dooooooooooomed! (shudders) God, if those two ever mated...no, no, I'll not even postulate as to what the product of such a horror of a Union would be...even 36% of Zombies would agree with me on that (they're deceased, not crazy).
Stumbled in this as I was looking through threads, so looked up the 'rest of the story.' In September, the man who stole the casket and corpse was put on probation after spending 225 days incarcerated in jail and or mental facilities. The body stolen was the guy's father, and he thought he would miraculously be revived. He was distraught over the death of his parents. When I read the story, it are me sad to think about the desperation so many people suffer. I'm glad it wasn't Zombie stuff..
I always wanted a Muscle Casket. I hear they are now make an E Casket in wood with inlayed solar panels.
