From a early age my mother told me stories full of faith and the lord. So growing up I tried to do the church every sat. I think I made it almost a year. But I never found the feeling in a church that Ive found out on the streets and in every day life. My mother always said you can feel gods love. And I can honestly say I have. Its a feeling deep within me that can concur any mood I'm in. Just today I was watching 2012 theories. And someone was telling me to listen or read carefully at what I was watching by freezing the screen. I swear their was a short video about Obama and his name Barrack how its the meaning of lightning. But their was 2 moments where the page wouldn't load until I really read and understood what this guy was saying now whether the points it was explaining were about Barrack didn't matter it was the passage that I needed to understand. Call me koo koo or what ever I swear i gazed over the writings and was waiting for the next frame and it just froze. Something said READ THIS CAREFULLY so I did I stuttered a couple times understanding just what was said but the second it hit me Boom. The next clip came across the screen. It happened just as soo as before a couple clips later. Then at one point watching the {prophecy of the bible a huge unexplainable feeling came over me that what I would call the wholly ghost. I know I'm not what you would call full religious person. Being todays standard. I practice my belief in God by trying to live a Ritchie's life. Do on to others. Love thy neighbor ect.. That inner voice of guidance I believe is Gods is Gods hard wire. Were in for some really dark days ahead of us regardless if you believe. You have to believe what NASA and all these scientist are saying. I've been worried about these reports and how can I protect my children and really been stressing it. It wasn't until today that these worries led me to write my Great Aunt Joanie. In writing her about the worries. Shes a very religious woman. I found my answer to the problem. Trust in God Live the right way. Leave the Hate and Negative behind you and walk in the light of the lord. So I decided to look up some stuff on you tube. Some really great scary interesting videos on their. Now if my house starts to fall down around us were not going to sit in prayer right away we will take steps to find shelter and safety. But I honestly think God or Helpers are guiding me know on what to do. The way things are falling into place couldn't by them selves. Someone is helping!! I'm going to be recruiting people some how some way. Its my calling. Let more people be saved. Their is no God higher than him the Almighty. And I know I halved sinned but never to serious that I couldn't ask god for help. God is salvation. Way to powerfully to explain. I'm glad that you found something that gives you some sort of comfort and inner peace. And it is very special that you found the need to share your experience with everyone else online. You have taken a chance and decided to reach out to others for some reason. You have clearly stated your beliefs and your certainty of those believes. You have offered to help others (proselytized) to feel the way you feel and asked them to share their feelings and to just pray. All fine and good. Now, are you really ready for people to share their feelings? Or would you rather just have them do as you suggest? You've sort of opened can of worms here and you should expect to get what you have asked for and more. Are you really ready for that Anthony?
Theirs a deeper lesson here. I'm really ready! I am not here to tell anyone they are wrong. What ever your belief. I'm not pushing this on anyone. Those who need it will find it and take from it what they need. I'm sure people are sitting reading this saying another programed bible pushing what ever. I'm far from what you have in mind. Ive experienced both sides of the line. And with me I'm happier trying to do what is right by god. Then all the partying women money Ive had in the past. I'm sure a lot of people are so filled with hate their frothing at the mouth, No one should push their belief onto anyone. Force anyone to think any way. You hit it on the head Moen. Heck A LOT of Catholics / Christians wouldn't even call me one. Every religion has its Fanatics. I'm not one. I open to debate. I'm open minded. But I'm down with the GOD dawg. LOL
Well Anthony, regardless of your personal mission, it is nice to have another voice in this sea of opinions. I don't mind that your beliefs are antithetical to mine and I would never try to convince you to believe as I do. You have your road and I have mine. All I can do is take what you say and try to meld it with the same things I've heard from others in my past and see if you stand out or are just more of the same. So far you seem reasonable but in my experience people that swing from one extreme to the other and claim to know both sides usually are just in the midst of their latest serial flavor of the month commitment. In other words, once God stops doing it for you, it is anybody's guess what knee jerk commitment you'll head off into next. The people I've known that behave like this have come from my own family and friends and are usually worse off for the experience when all is said and done. I don't know what your experience has been but my guess is that you have hit several bottoms in your life and still look for external cures when the problem has been internal all along. Nothing external or supernatural will change that no matter how into them you become. I may be right and I may be wrong about you but just playing the percentages from my own experiences I kind of doubt it.
You must be very lonely! I see a man wanting to argue nothing more. Your not going to get more than a laugh out of me. hhahha I thought you were a lawyer was it a defense lawyer. Cause the person you quickly painted a picture of couldn't be further from me. I have always felt close to God. Ive never left him this is not the thrill of the week. I'm glad I entice you enough to play percentages. My love of god and his blessing comes from the many highs I continue to have. Ive gotten shots people dream of. And never disappointed! I dint think Ill have any issues steeping through the pearly white gates. I think a lot of lost thoughts are out their and if someone wanted to talk about experiences I'm more than willing to talk. Where exactly do you see me arguing with you? All I said was that it was nice to have another voice and I would never try to convince you to change your beliefs. I don't agree with your beliefs but you certainly have your beliefs and I have mine. Big deal! You, like many others of your belief system, think that there is only GOD and nothingness. Nothing is really missing without God except one minor choice. There are lots of alternatives other than God and other gods. The single minded thought of “God” just consumes your life so much that you can't see any other choices. That’s fine, but thinking that I'm lonely because I don't believe as you do is just a reflection of the limitations of your own perspective not the breadth of my choices. Let me put your suspicions to rest. I have never been a lawyer. I couldn't stand to be around people that competitive and greedy 24/7. I have always thought that I’d be a good lawyer because I do like debate. Debate in my mind is the opposite of faith. Debate searches for answers while faith says that answers don’t matter.
That is good that you found a great way to live. I agree with you that the good Lord will be with you no matter what. I am happy to say that the Lord has helped me a many of times.
