After this whole head stomp thing, I was poking around his site and reading about him. I gave him kudos for firing the head stomp guy, I do appreciate it when people put what's right ahead of political expedience, and firing the guy was what's right even if it pissed off the hardcore teabaggers. Of course there were a few places where I thought his thinking is short sighted, but for the most part I like what he's saying. But then, I don't get to vote for him anyway, being that I live in Massachusetts, my vote doesn't count (for pretty much anything, not just about Rand Paul). Here's his site : http://www.randpaul2010.com
Some of the things he says that I really like: He opposes bailouts.... why reward failure? He supports homeschooling, wnts a homeschooler tax break. His support for Campaign finance reform Distrust of the IMF, etc... Support for new homegrown sources of energy. Wants to stop the alarming attacks on our personal liberties. Supporting term limits. It could be all politician lies, but it sounds good to me.
