Here it comes again and most (all?) weather experts say it will be another doozie. Question: The fed gov't just spent +- 100 billion dollars(!!) on rebuilding and it is likely that most of that money will be swept away with this year's storm. Was it wise to rebuild in this hurricane hot zone?
Even though I do feel sorry for the people who live in hurricane areas and flood plains I think it's time for us to learn from the past.It is just too costly.So I think if a person decides to live in one of those frequently destroyed areas,they should be prepared to handle the problem and costs themselves.
