POLITICAL FALL-OUT

Not only was this a loss of 9 legislatures under Clinton, but it was the first time since 1954 that the GOP had controlled more state legislatures than the Democrats (they tied in 1968).

Old dan that is quite a list I will counter it if I can find the time over the holiday. Clinton rocked, he was the most intelligent leader we ever had and did more good than bad. Bush is the least intelligent leader we have ever had and we will be cleaning up this ugly mess for a generation.

 

Clintons biggest faults were not so much his politics, or his intelligence, and in fact he has attributes of charisma and character which served him well in weathering the storms purpetuated by his personal failings which we are all abundantly informed of.

I rather think that in time Clintons personal faults will largely be forgotten since they were in the fore in the present time and not a revelation so many years later such as the case with John Kennedy.

 

You may be right, as Clinton and his Democratic friends had ways of making a person forget. See the "unexplained phenomena" and "sudden death syndrome" sections in my post.
As for the existing Democrats, they have already had that lapse in memory which seem quite common with a few on this forum.

Oh yes, never forget Aaron Marian Berry...crack smoking on T.V. with the feds filming. What a dunce!

etc. etc. etc. \ it goes on and on, there isn't any end of this list.

 

The Monica scandal was the best thing to have happened to BIll.
It made everyone forget how Foster was found dead in the middle of a muddy park with clean shoes. As well as the China payoffs etc....

Clinton was smart and charming but isn't the same thing said of the devil
when he wants to get his way.

As for dirty politicians I say get rid of them all regardless of what party and let some real americans take over.
