He is in my eye's not a bad Prez, I can not realy comment on his Internal policies as I am not a Yank and to do so would be unfair. However on his apperance he lacks something not quite sure what, he seems to have difficulty with words (I do not mean this in a disrespectful way) I agreed with the adventure into Afhganistan and the removal of Sadam (But not with all the rubish that was sprouted as just causes) I feel terribly sorry for him when it came to Katrina and the aftermath it just seemed he could do no right as far as the media was concerned. If his Father had not preceeded him in the job, I honestly think we would view him in a different light. I prefer him to Tony Blair who is a Thatcherite but does not have the guts to admit it LOL De Orc
I know, its just too funny of a pic thats been on the web for years. If you really want to know search failure on google
If your referencing New Orleans, then I guess the buck does stop at the top....when passed by trembling cowards that can't/won't take responsibility for their own actions. This things that I still can't get past with New Orleans. 1. They ran a mock drilled based on only a cat 2 hurricane just one year before. The results showed heavy heavy damage to the city.....nothing was done to resolve the problem. 2. Leaders of New Orleans complained about not having enough money to repair the levees. The tell me why the hell $2+ million ear-marked for levee repair and strengthening went to building a public square water fountain? Kinda looks silly having a new waterfountain under water. Sooo, in short, there's a lot about Bush I'm not thrilled with, but if you think things like the above are his fault......your just one more in the long line of adimantly ignorant. US Constitutions states our hard won freedoms....not freedom from responsibility.
Dude, Bush appointed unqualified people period everything is just political nonsense and RNC talkingpoints
i live in florida and we always get hit with hurricanes. ive sat through many of them after a manditory evacuation was ordered. if i was injured or killed i would have been no ones fault but my own. i dont think you can blame the democrates that ran the city/state or the republican that runs the country.as harsh as this sounds blame the victim for not leaving. "Leaders of New Orleans complained about not having enough money to repair the levees. The tell me why the hell $2+ million ear-marked for levee repair and strengthening went to building a public square water fountain? Kinda looks silly having a new waterfountain under water." ive heard several places this money has gone. i guess it just depend what station you watch fo rthe news. p.s. all the informed people know that is was really the c.i.a. that bombed the levys. and g.w. needed to test his super secret weather machine .
Did anyone see the first interview with W after Katrina? He giggled through the interview. I already hated him before that, but now I hate him worse. I think he is the worst president in my lifetime, since 1958. His tax cuts to the wealthy alone would more than pay for hurricane aftermath. As for the unprovoked war, I am disgusted. Our founding fathers would be disgusted with his actions also, Just my opinion. I know lots of members of this board are 'Rich" and benefit from his tax cuts, so I am not going to be very popular after this post. Sorry. I think war is a last resort. We should have left after 'Mission Accomplished"
Bush shows signs of having a learning disabilitity mainly with articulation and organizing his thoughts. The press bashes him on every miss-spoken word for that is what they look to do with him. I feel that Bush is a good man. An intelligent man but not one of the smartest in Washington. Now Bush has two problems. One: the democratic party is not working with the best interests of the nation in mind right now and are just looking to slander and attack which is the lowest form of politics. Which is sad for we need statesmen ship from the Democratic party now. Two: The press is lying about Bush in so many ways that it is worse then "yellow journalism" it is closer to treason for what they say undermines the nation as a whole.\ First major lie: Bush lied to us about the intelligence just to get us into Iraq for.... Truth: Bush got his intelligence information from a then Head of the FBI who was appointed by Clinton and retained by Bush and a then Head of the CIA who was appointed by Clinton and retained by Bush leading up and past 911 and Iraq. Never mind the British intelligence that was given as well. Another truth, weapons of mass destruction were found in ballistic missles with poison gas tip cones as payload. However, the press only defined WMA as nukes. There is a lie in the press everyday about Bush and misleading information about the muslims. Does anyone else see the problem with this. Oh and for those who think that these lies are freedom of speech, those reports of tens of thousands of dead and floating bodies in New Orleans could have incited inner city riots in this nation but I think that most of the minority community, being a member of it myself, knows how the press lies themselves.
Dude? You lose your car or something? Last I knew, the President of the US does not appoint state and local senators, govenors, chiefs of police, town councils, mayors. If you read what I wrote, I am not defending Bush. I am just sick of people not taking PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN ACTIONS. Sorry for the caps, just wanted to make sure you could read it through the purple haze.
Dog gone it rambozo, I wish you hadn't posted this! Now danr will believe it and go around repeating these charges as fact.
How do I rate George Bush... Hmm.. well if I met him on the street, I'd buy him a Coke, but I doubt I'd loan him my car keys..
sorry old dan but im obligated to spread the truth about the secret weather machine. oh and chiney plans on nuking fort knox to throw the gold standard out of wack and destroy the u.s. economy.but it will turn out to be a trick and he is really going to steal the gold and just make everyone thing it was destroyed.
I am just saying that Bush's lack of ethics in appointing a FEMA head position as a POLITICAL FAVOR is absolute treason and he should be impeached for it. Now people come along like sheep and mouth the RNC's words in blaming others. Bush's lack of ethics cost people their lives!
I have noticed that you keep going back to "your" only source of knowledge. Talk of someone leading someone down the old path of no return, you are on it now. Guess we will have to start calling you Winston (after they caught up with him).
Old dan now are you saying that Brown was the best man for the job? I know you are not saying that, you could not possible be swimming that deep in Bush's BS. Brown did not belong anywhere near that job, now I am not saying that a conservative should not have had the job, Giuliani would have been a good choice. But using an office like that for political payoff IS treason and yes it did cost lives. Simple fact is that if a guy like Giuliani had that job some of those lives would have been saved.
No Eric Blair did (AKA George Orwell), it has been a while since I read it and I may go back to it. In my teens I read Burmeese Days, 1984 and some other Orwell things but 1984 seems appropraite now with all of the double speak going on.
Cost lives. Are we talking about the tens of thousands of dead floating bodies that CNN and others were screaming about. So there were no tens of thousands of dead people but lets attack FEMA. FEMA might not have the best administrators but blaming them for what happened is really not appropriate. An area below sea level was hit with a level 4 hurricane. An area below sea level did not spend money given to them to maintain and upgrade the dam system was hit with a level 4 hurricane. If Bush was to be brought up on charges it should be for throwing billions of dollars to the most criminally represented state in the nation. The days of Huey Long and today are not that different in that state.
And just where did you learn this? Regards, CraigG Answer: one. Question: How many psychics does it take to change a light bulb.
