Yes herion is coming from Afghanistan now and you know what it was before we went into that area as well. The muslims are big on herion as a source of income and as a tool to undermine europe and the united states. Iran and Pakistan are two major growers as well as Afghanistan. Turkey is big on moving it into Europe and the muslim controled Nigeria is big on moving muslim herion into the United States.
Syria is also involved as well as a ton of islamic terrorist groups.

i got to tell you the best plan of action against multiple enemys is to have them fight each other until they are weak and then you destroy them both.

the problem with this country doing this is that our foreign policy seems to change every 4 years.

Um isn't ESSO really EXXON/Mobil. They make something like 46 billion dollars in profits a quarter in natural gas/oil. 46 billion in 3 months. I think you need to wake up to the fact that drugs like coke and heroin are mainly controlled by people who are not americans.

 

Um. Esso is Exxon/Mobile. They make around 46 billion dollars in profits last quarter. That is a 3 month period. They drill for oil and natural gas all over the world. Since Asia is a large part of the world, why would you think it is unlawful for them to be drilling there as well.

Now Exxon/Mobile drills and refines oil and natural gas from all over the world. Since Asia is part of the world it should not surprise anyone to see Exxon/Mobile drilling and refining away there as well. Exxon/Mobile may have a ton of skeltons in their closet but inferring that they are drug smuggling is kind of out there to say the least and is ignoring the real villains.

If you want to look at direct links of drug dealings, look at his Jimmy's brother, Billy. His brother was also publically on Libya's payroll as well. One case that made the press was in 1978 the deal he made in arranging sales of planes by Lockhead to Libya .And do not think Jimmy is clean. Carter does get paid millions of dollars to speak around the world on groups that are sponsered by arab oil money. Don't take my world for, look it up yourself. By not only looking where he speaks but what organizations are behind the conferences, etc and who is funding those organizations or fronts.

As for the Shah. If he was in power today, 911 might not have happened and the Saudi's might be under our thumb instead of us being under theirs. But that would take a long time to go over how the course of events would have traveled a different path and alternative choices then might have been taken.

 

Andy, Carter had about as much real power as you or I do. He refused to play the game due to his superior moral fiber (he really was and still is a Christian, the real kind not the Bush kind). Reagan had many powerful connections and this hostage thing was arranged for his benefit (Ross Perot admits to some really funny manipulations of the Iranian people causing riots and such, the righties were manipulating them on a larger level). You may remember the TV show Nightline was formed to provide a constant hammering on Carter over the hostage issue and that drove him out of office.
