This from the guy who started a thread to criticize the National Christmas tree because it had an ornament that honored the POTUS. Yeah, you do love this time of year and you hardly seem miserable at all even considering the topic of your own thread. Right! Ho! Ho! Ho!
I know how you hate being wrong (even though you are very good at it) so I corrected your post. I underlined the portion of moen's post I fixed. You're welcome.
So I was wrong about you creating a thread to criticize the National Christmas tree? I see. Let's not let the fact that we are all commenting in said thread dissuade us from believing you. That would be a Christmas miracle eh?
Hahahah.. I love it. After seeing you inject the "MMM MMM MMM Barack Hussein Obama" bit into the discussion, I thought it would be nice if we all reminded ourselves of this little episode. Oh, it just makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, comrades. Enjoy: Transcript: Mm, mmm, mm! Barack Hussein Obama He said that all must lend a hand To make this country strong again Mmm, mmm, mm! Barack Hussein Obama He said we must be fair today Equal work means equal pay Mmm, mmm, mm! Barack Hussein Obama He said that we must take a stand To make sure everyone gets a chance Mmm, mmm, mm! Barack Hussein Obama He said red, yellow, black or white All are equal in his sight Mmm, mmm, mm! Barack Hussein Obama Yes! Mmm, mmm, mm Barack Hussein Obama
I think Takiji's point is that you can't make the president responsible for every silly thing people will do in his name. No matter how much Okie might want to both attribute and disavow one video over the other the fact is people are born sheep and they need authority figures to drool over and you can't help some of them if they decide to drool over you. Clearly, there ought to be a video out there praising, honoring, slobbering over me but I have searched and there doesn't seem to be one. Go figure!
The difference between the Jesus Camp thing and the Obama thing is that the Jesus Camp clip is taken out of context. If you watch the whole thing, you will see that the people in that film are on the extreme side of radical and that the kids are being brainwashed. The Obama kids are just "normal" kids in the public school system . . . which I guess means that they are being brainwashed. Sooooooo . . . There really is no difference. *cough* Nothing to see here . . . move along . . . move along . .
You know, I don't now nor have I really understood what the problem here is for you. Knowing the RW'ers as I do, UNCALLED FOR REMARKS. You guys always were traditionalists.
I really do not think he was trying to blame BO for that. Maybe those who blindly follow him, but not BO himself Merry Christmas to you!
Well as far as the resident hard-core RWers on the board are concerned, even the one I like, Obama is also on the extreme side of radical, so any insertion of him into the schools must be by and for his fellow extreme-side radicals. I think both videos are creepy, but the Christian one rather more than the Obama one. And we mustn't forget GB's obvious attempt at brainwashing the little ones using that pet goat book as a cover....
Both videos are creepy. The Christian one is by far the creepier. I remember watching the entire Jesus Camp movie--just because I'd heard so much about it, I thought for sure it couldn't possibly be that extreme. Boy, was I wrong! (But yes, I feel that Obama is pretty radical--I might not exactly say the extreme side of radical, since he hasn't done anything illegal or with irrational overtones--but yeah, he's way too far to the left for my comfort.)
