And a lot more of it was started by the union members murdering the scabs and collecting their "protection" money. That was common practice when I was growing up. BTW, I am not saying your scenario did not occur, but the pendulum took a big swing the other direction also.
No wonder he and moen get along so well. They both apparently believe that the ends justify the means.
And these people are the same ones that excuse abortion doctors being murdered, Right-wing hate group bombings, and people like David Duke being courted by the Tea Party to run for office. They shouldn't be trying to lecture anyone about violence given the their track record but that never seems to stop them. They just disavow the violence and secretly nod their approval of it while condemning others for fighting back. Fight back isn't as bad as lying down and taking a beating. Given the choice, measured violence is sometimes the only choice. It never involves shooting or killing innocent people. I can condone acts of mischief that make a point but killing people for political reasons goes way too far. There is a line that cannot be crossed or we fall into anarchy.
I thought that was the Right-wing mantra or at least their political platform. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Geeeesh!
Any reasonable person would not excuse such action just as any reasonable person wouldn't excuse the murder of unborn babies. Personally, I don't excuse right-wing hate group bombings any more than I excuse left-wing hate group bombings. I don't agree with David Duke's past actions and I don't feel as though he would be a good candidate. But, then again I don't agree with a lot people's past actions. Should their past necessarily be a prerequisite for running for public office? If that's the case, we probably wouldn't have any elected officials whatsoever. I'm shocked to see that you agree to only measured violence or "mischief" as you call it (such as burning down the State House). I don't really consider committing arson as "mischievous", but, hey, whatever gets you through the night.
Moen, you know you jealous. David Duke has such a cool name. With the general lee for a car he get any girl with a southern smile.
When you're a woman talk to me. And bring a theologian along. And a doctor. I'll have my own. I think a politician's past is normally called his or her record. That is usually what I look at when I'm deciding whether or not to vote for someone. Do you think that Moen is seriously proposing to burn down the state house? I don't and I don't think that you do either. Come on.
Here is his entire quote (word for word unedited). Now you tell me what part of that you think he his joking about. Just to be sure, here is his previous post
I think that what it boils down to is Moen annoys you and your fixation on his alleged violent tendencies aka hyperbole is simply your way of not dealing with the issues.
You may believe as you wish. I am sure showing his socialism, his prejudices, etc. would not change your mind a bit.
Rimmy is also known to doctor quotes ala Breitbart and his signature line has several. At a very minimum he takes quotes out of context and twists them to push his extreme Right-wing agenda. Breitbard Jr. has no credibility here.
Why not just let me speak for myself and find yourself another fixation? You follow me around and nip at my ankles like an annoying pet. I already have a dog and I don't really need another critter. Your spin on what I post is vastly more biased than anything I could possibly post that you routinely complain about. You remind me of the guy who torches his own house so that he can complain about the way the firefighters put it out. Dumb on a cellular level.
