What do you consider to be the greatest invention(s)? Was it the Personal Computer? The Steam Engine? The Rock? (stone age tools) ...You don't have to be too serious here, just try to have fun with it. As an example, my choice for Greatest Invention would probably be toilet paper... (laughs)
The wheel is definitely up there but I give real serious thought to the printing press. So many inventions have spawned other inventions which is why I like the Blaise Pascal saying. "Everything that is perfected by progress also perishes by progress".
I'm thinking the hammer. It's a refreshing method to shut off of those pesky alarm clocks. I mean, you can only throw so many against a wall before it gets old, right? Yeah, I like the hammer lol
Ugh, I hate the idea that people can "reach out and touch me" at will ...if I carried a cell-phone, which I do not... I don't care for uninvited touching lol ...(sighs)... but yes, I have to admit that cell-phones are an immense benefit to society. The "Arab Spring" as an example. Another would be if your car had gone off the road and you needed help immediately.
