They base their beliefs on the rantings of mohamed. He was a lot of things, but certainly not a prophet. He married Aisha at the ripe old age of 6 years old. Wow, must have been a real exciting wedding night for them both. All of Gods real prophets performed miracles. They healed the sick, made the blind to see, even raised the dead. Mohamed did none of those things. He taught hatred, murder, and death to ALL non muslims. Jesus Christ preached love and forgiveness. I see islam as evil, like a fast growing cancer. I see them as no more than satans disciples. Even the so called peaceful ones are all taught from the same book. Their koran teaches hatred to all non muslims, they are told to wait in ambush and kill all the infidels, uhhhh, thats us. They are promised a trip to paradise for murdering innocents. What kind of a man would encourage his children to strap on a tnt coat, point them toward a bus load of school kids, tell them to murder them and they will be rewarded by allah with 72 virgins in paradise??? A muslim, thats who. Imagine those folks horror as the realize they went to hell. The so called snipers, the man who fragged his fellow soldiers, all recent converts to islam.
