Craig, this forum is generally conducted in a casual conversational style, not a literary one. In here, the essence of communication is intention, and as long as the message gets through, the style is acceptable. I think you're being a little persnickety about it.

 

Thats fine. But I cannot understand that sentence at all. thats's not casual, it's sloppy.

 

I'm not sure, but for you I will give it a try one of these days. If I could count on you to let me know when it's satisfactory, I would be deeply appreciative.

Different dialects are funny to listen too as well as read. I recall once listening to a new gal at the base (she was from upstate NY) tell a friend she couldn't use the vacuum cleaner because there was "Horse Hair in the Hoover..." I was crying it was so damn funny to hear her talk. Then she started going on about a "Fish Fry SANDWICH" WTH is a Fish Fry sandwich???
