Fair enough, now tell me why you have not been on this form berating the previouse administration for ignoring Afghanistan for all those years? lets look back to Febuary shall we he authorised then a increas in troop number of some 17,000 yet I heard no great cheer going up!! Why was that? now he authorises a additional 30,000 again all I hear is complaints. You talk of 40 to 60 thousand well I make it a total of 47 thousand so far!!

You say he is only prolonging the situation, yet he has given a possible exit date!! what exactly do you want from him? As far as the Republicans were concerned the war was Iraq, which had nothing to do with the attack on America, he on the other hand takes the fight to were those responsible came from and you complain!!

 

I do believe the Bush adm. did not do enought in afghanistan. Mistakes were made.
Giving a exit date only proves his total lack of experience and total disregard for his troops, Bush was right about not giving dates.
As to what I want from him or any other American president is unconditional victory.
