For those who think the U.S. is stretched too thin

Well it looks like troop numbers in Iraq will be reduced by at least 25% next summer, and that will be without jepodising the security of the country. My own countries soldiers are allready easing there precence in Basra & the surounding areas.

 

So a handful of Generals you refuse to name are better qualified to make this judgment than the top military brass in the country and even the Bush administration? I guess you find those obscure Generals who shall remain nameless more believable because you love war so much. It seems like Al Qaeda hasn't had too much trouble with all of our technology so far.

 

Don't believe everything you hear from the Bush administration on troop levels. He has to drag this endless war out until he is out of office so that he can save face. Somebody else needs to be blamed for Bush's war and that somebody is the next person in the White House.

 

So, are you the spokesman for Al Qaeda now? How fitting coming from you.

So, you are saying there aren't ANY generals who will say we can fight more than 2 wars at once? Any General who says we can't or shouldn't fight multiple wars to protect our Freedoms should be shot or hanged IMHO. I hope that was clear to you MOEN. Too bad you aren't a General!

Actually, you're just putting words in my mouth. I've yet to see any other country try to take away any of my freedoms but I have noticed my country unilaterally invading other sovereign countries pretty frequently and taking away freedom from the people of those countries. You prefer to see it as liberating them but few people in those countries saw it that way or see it that way today. You speak the language of the oppressor well.
