This one is great... Here is a virtual library of the trash... http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=westboro baptist&search=Search
I applaud Mr. Jimmy Swaggart, Mr. Ted Haggerty, Mr. AND Mrs. Bakker, and Mr. Warren Jeffs. If you can take all those brainless bible thumpers for all they have in the bank, I say do it. If you are that stupid or have so much hate for other groups in your heart, then you are fair game for anyone that holds up a bible and tells you God has spoken to them. Heck, If I were just a little bit more dishonest, I'd open my own ministry and take those suckers for all they had. :high5: They may not believe in the theory of evolution but it's principle of survival of the fittest sure has plenty of reprecussions for their descendants, if they have any.
I would pound bible and make all money too, but there consequences for it. Maybe need to come to USA to learn how be TV preacher and "save"
What consequences! Jim Bakker is back on TV doing the same thing. There is no end to how stupid these people are.
might as well get what you can ...I suggest you go Benny Hinn style....he is a faith healer and a gazillionare...the sheep flock to him.... do a search on youtube for benny hinn (bodies hit the floor)...amazing http://www.smileofachild.org/about/index.php/20.html or jan from praise the lord...love that hair...sometime I tune in to see what color it is today. ^^ this guy has the right idea if you ask me...
he heals people by pretty much giving them a good whack and they fall down and convulse The supremely evil one, one I saw on TV every night because he was in my area is Robert Tilton... He heals people through the TV...speaks in tongues...blesses cloth then sells them...and is constantly...like most of them...asking for money. I havent seen him on TV in a while...it was the 80's early 90's last time I saw him but the guy is just...insane....I think he was exposed as a cheat on a news show or something. he always makes faces like he is trying to squeeze out a big turd....someone took one of his money begging sermons and put fart noises each time he does it....it worked well probably on youtube....alot of these army of god, TV preachers, scary types are on youtube. http://www.fostertribe.org/videos/Tilton1.ram
Jan Crouch, she and her husband started that TBN scam. I think his name is (edited) Paul, make that Paul. Ben
I may have to SAVE Russia, I just pay taxes to VP and all well, and not go jail like Khodorovskyi. I buy then NTV(television station) and have dachas filled with dyevushkas and limos drive to all.
I'm sure I'm opening myself up here, but well, here goes... I'm a man of faith, but an absolute skeptic of these evangelists. I see much being preached that does not fit with my understanding of the message of New Testament teaching. As for this bodies hitting the floor thing... I don't know what to say about this... except to tell a story that I know to be absolutely true. I was invited to one of these revivals. It was not Benny Hinn. I had heard about the people that were doing the revival and of the folks that they touched and all of the falling and whatnot... not something that I bought into. At the end of the evening, they did their altar call. I decided to go up and see for myself. All around me were people falling down as the speakers went to them, prayed and then touched them on the chest. Eventually, one of the speakers arrived at me. He began praying and then touched me... barely... on the chest. It was like being hit with a jolt of energy, not quite like accidentally touching a live 110VAC line, but a strange POW right in the chest. I stayed on my feet. He prayed harder and touched me again. Same shock to my chest. This time I took half a step back. He tried a third time and I still remained standing. He made some remark about the strength within me. Then two of the other speakers came over and put their hands on his shoulders and prayed with him. He touched me for the fourth time... just barely making contact to my chest with one finger and that was it. My body gave out. The shock of energy went through all of me and paralyzed me. I was on the floor for a good half a minute or so before I was able to start moving. Was it a divine experience? I don't believe it was. I don't believe that if it were divine that I would have been able to stand through three attempts. I cannot deny that there is some sort of power there though. I don't know what it is, but it's not simply that those people want to believe and so they fall down. I did NOT want to fall down.
I'm not saying this is the answer, but simply a possibility. The Chinese use needles and certain points while preforming brain surgery. Now that would take some real power of some kind to keep me on the table while cutting off the top of my head. Isn't it just possible that they might have used 'pressure points' to accomplish what you describe? Think about it!:thumb:
I don't know OldDan. I've considered pressure points but haven't been able to locate it. I have some training in pressure points, but I'm by no means an expert, so I can't rule it out conclusively. I've considered center of gravity... everything I can think of, but haven't been able to duplicate or answer the question to my own satisfaction.
Here is an example for you to think about. Years ago, I was in a shopping Mall and happened to be there when a guy was demonstrating his skill at relieving pain and helping people who suffered from this and that. He would say, "is there anyone out there who has a problem (or example) breathing? Some person would hold up their hand and he would be ask to come forward. The guy doing the demonstartion would do something with what I thought was his finger, and the person being touched, would give out a sigh and say he could never breath better in his life. Well, you can only immagine what I was thinking to myself. What a bunch of baloney.. I knew he had planted shills in the audience and this was just a show. I kept watching and finaly when I figured he was just about to quit. I offered the information to him that I was unable to raise my elbow any higher than my shoulder, due to an old sports injury. He called me forward and took what I now could tell was something like a pen. He ask me which shoulder and exacrtly what the problem was. He then touched me in my right ear and man, I got a jolt. I tried my arm and no change. He took the pen ( or what ever it was) and did it again in the same location and the same ear. He ask me to try my shoulder again. I hate to admit it but I could raise my arm all the way. I felt silly as HE......, because I knew there had to be someone out there in the audience thinking I was a plant for this guy. I tried it again that evening on my own and got some movement as before. This went on for about a week and after that I didn't get any feeling from doing the ear thing. Over t he years my shoulder has again gone to staying below my shoulder again. I know exactly where that point is in my ear, but can't get it to work like it did that night in the mall. Sorrry about all the sad story of my life.
Yup! Sounds like the same sort of trick. I'd like to ask you more about the "jolt" sensation you felt, and what you mean when you say you did it on your own... obviously it wasn't the device he had but the spot he touched... but we're already kind of way off topic. I'd just like to figure this out because I know many people who have fallen into it, and while I believe in miracles, I don't believe that this thing they do is one and would love to be able to disprove it, but I can't do that unless I can duplicate it.
Check...I am not going to dispute what happened to you...it happened to you and I dont know what it was and it would be interesting to know what caused it if you ever got to the bottom of it. Even if you said you find it was divine, who am I to say it wasnt. Just to relate it back to Benny Hinn, if you watch the video of him doing what he does here: you will see that he touches people on the face sometimes...often almost slapping them...but look carefully as he does a line of guys...he touches them all but the last guy in line doesnt get touched yet and fall...quite a few example in this video arent even touched and they fall...he swings his jacket at a few with the same results...he just puts his hand up at a few and they convulse and fall...the crowd swarms and people jerk around...he claims to have raised the dead...and millions believe him. He is filthy rich and every dollar he gets is tax free. here is short expose on him, there are real sick people who are hinging their hopes on him healing them and they just know he will when he they go see him: whatever was done to you...isnt what this guy is doing. I havent a clue what you felt.
You wouldn't need a device in your hand if you were standing on something and used your body as a conductor and anyone you touched would be the ground. You could even be holding a microphone with a wire attached wearing rubber soled shoes and complete a circuit by grounding yourself on another person. Low amperage jolts don't hurt you but they do cause your body to feel certain sensations and the nerves could be temporarily affected. All charlatans. Nothing more. Not being able to explain something doesn't make it devine intervention.
I absolutely agree with you Moen, and still think it had to do with pressure points, or something similar. What ever it was seemed to get accuatomed to my poking with my finger nail and slowely quit working for me. Dang near wore my ear out poking at it for awhile.
