I am in the middle of a commerical as I watch Flight 93 on A&E...my blood is boiling. If this movie doesn't get you mad as hell against islamc radicals, NOTHING will. This is not even the movie that is appearing in movie theaters all over the nation. That is why we must fight islamic radicals with ALL of our might and power. After all, islam is very clear in their goal to control the world with their warped religion. I encourage all to watch America's first successful battle against islamic radicals that took place over the Pennsylvania skys on 9/11/2001.
How easily so many in America have already forgotten and forgiven these people that hate us.... They will get us again.....We must do all we can to help ensure this doesn't happen and fight. Stand up for your country!!! Don't be afraid to speak up.

Americans have really gotten soft and stupid. There was a time when Americans would be worried about alien invaders and subsequent attempts by aliens to subvert American Law. Young Americans won't appreciate what we have until it is lost due to neglect. We have become a big fat target for the rest of the world. I assume that all of you will march on Monday and attempt to disrupt the economy. The evnets that transpired on Flight 93 on 11 September 2001 should go down in history as important to American history as the Battle of New Orleans and the Alamo. That was a beautiful example of American courage and response. Hopefully, there are more Americans like those still around.
I really believed the first attack back in 1993 would wake up America. 6 were killed and islamic terrorists everywhere were upset the towers didn't topple and kill thousands!! Then America gets ANOTHER rude awakening on September 11th, but what do we have now? We have a vast number of people that believe we shouldn't fight and defend ourselves from these animals. So what it is going to take? A nuke going off (c/o Iran) in one of our cities all in the name of jihad and allah? Even if that happens, there will be people that will want to "reach out to these people and understand them". Make no mistake...islam will ATTACT the innocent again on this soil so the more we deal with islam in THEIR backyard instead of ours, the more we can live in security and peace. It is what it is...since the foundation of this terrible religion, they are the cause for over 90% of today's wars and conflicts. I am NOT about to stick my head in the sand and hope they go away...unfortunately, many are just doing that! Meanwhile...an islamic terrorists is smiling and planning the next attack. Well if you ever look at the controlling share holders in our multi-media you will see alot of Middle Eastern shieks with ever growing petro dollar power. Perhaps this is why so little coverage was made of 911 and the terrorist activities that did happen in our nation before and since then. Yet, every opportunity that makes the USA look bad when it comes to counterterrorism activites it is over played. How many times were people shown jumping out of the windows to escape the fire of the towers on TV and how many times was that prisoner shown standing on a box with a bag over his head. Why after the attack, how many times was the attack even shown afterwards? Something to think about. As for the Flight 93 movie, it had to be made outside of this nation in England by the British and if you noticed not every network will allow it to be advertised and some others just plain slam it with the excuses we are not ready, people will not go out to see it...to undermine the movie to prevent Americans from remembering who attacked us. We are not Republicans nor are we Democrats....We are Americans.

Going a little OT here, but if you would all stop buying and driving and fueling up your big petrol guzzling Hummers, Suburbans, Tahoes etc, and push for your government, energy companies and auto makers to support bio fuels such as ethanol like some Latin countries, the cutoff of petro dollars to the terrorists would really put them where they belong, back in the 12th century. :loud:

Very true. However, the only real alternative to fossil fuels is nuclear power. Solar, geothermal, tides, and wind can chew around the edges, but nuclear power is the solution. I guess the Ukraine just had an important anniversary regarding that topic. They had a documentary on the Chernoble (sp?) disaster this week on one of the educational cable channels. It should be mandatory viewing for everyone. It is my understanding that the Russians are helping the Iran build an atomic power plant using the Chernoble design. Hopefully, I read that wrong.
My wife and I went to see the Flight 93 movie last night and as you probably realize, it isn't going to be the feel-good movie of the year -Understatement. But after the horror of what unfolds during this movie you realize that 4 airplanes aren't the only things hijacked on 9/11. Islam and the Muslim world are actually hijacked at the same time. What these individuals did in the name of Islam that day simply can't be forgiven easily by this country or the world. They succeeded in more than just crashing 4 airplanes. They drove a wedge between the Middle Eastern cultures and the West that can not heal anytime soon in my opinion. Someone on one side or the other needs to make a blatant overt gesture of significant importance to begin to bridge the chasm or we will continue to pick at each other until there is no turning back. I don't really see that happening anytime soon and we will probably end up going at each other until war becomes so costly and repugnant that both sides eventually tire of the chaos and an uneasy peace settles over the wreckage of what is left of society. I guess that is what Al-Qaeda wants anyway and they are on course to achieve their goals. They don't really care how many people they kill along the way as long as their vision on the world comes to fruition. We on the other hand should care and rise up in unity on both sides and say that we do not have to fight for their vision and we aren't going to dance for their pleasure no matter what they throw at us. We are going to hunt down the snake and cut off its perverted head once and for all. This is not a time to try and convince people to look at the "real" Islamic teachings nor is a time to condemn all Muslims as terrorists. Wounds are too fresh and tempers too short for insignificant gestures and rallying cries. Something large and meaningful has to occur from one or more of the major parties involved and it had better happen soon. Al-Qaeda has time and patience, lets frustrate them with cool, calm, understanding, voices united in their downfall.
Meon...great post! I would add is that Islam was "hijacked" long before 9/11. We (the Western civilized world) really didn't pay that much attention to it because most of these islamic attacks took places in areas of the world that most of us never heard of...or cared about. Bombings and killings of Jews and other infidels in these distant foreign lands became so frequent that we accepted it as a 'normal' part of life. You wake up in the morning and hear about another islamic suicide bombing...oh well, grab your coffee and take on the day was pretty much the course of action. Those animals are not bothering me, so what do I care? Even after the first attack of the WTC in 1993 when 6 were killed, most Americans quickly forgot about the intentions of islamic terrorists. After the first WTC attack, most of these islamc killings went back to foreign lands (like before) and these continued islamic killings didn't draw much attention...again. What did we do? We launched a few cruise missles at empty compounds so we could feel good about ourselves. That will teach them! So...islamic radicals laid low, had the patience (we will NEVER have), and planned their next attack for 9/11. Of course when THAT attack occured, the vast majority of Americans simply had it with "the religion of peace" and we wanted revenge. If that meant war against islamic radicals, so be it! Call in the arm forces and bomb the living crap out of them was pretty much the sentiment. However, many have lost this initial focus whereas people like me are still "blowing the horn" that these people will attack again and again all in the name of the warped religion. We are not fighting a government or a dictator...we are fighting against the worst of the worst which are people that will die for their religion because they are FOLLOWING this religion of hate, literally! Pretty scary when you think about it...they are just following the words as written in the Koran! Fighting islamic terrorists is just like fighting against the Nazi SS. These people were rasied to fight and defend Hitler to the death and many did just that. It took years after WWII to "de-nazify" Germany. Yes,there are still many Nazi's of today hanging around that need to be dealt with, but for the most part, we elminated this evil of the world. You can also draw comparisons to what the Japs did before the December 7th, 1941 attack. They were murdering thousands in China and other far east countries, but since it didn't effect most Americans, we just accepted it as a bunch of "nut-jobs" killing people we don't have anything in common with. But of course when Japan attacked on the 7th, a whole country woke up and wanted the revenge for this attack. We went to war with unwaivering resolve and even with initial set backs in both the Pacific and Europena areas of WWII, we were steadfast and won the war with unconditional surrender terms. Fortunately, the people of Japan and Germany realized their leaders and government were whacked, so they joined the civilized world and the world is better off due to our efforts in defeating this evil. I don't believe islamic radicals will ever join the civilized world UNLESS other muslims police and take care of these people. Just like in post-war Germany, you had your "Wolfpack" of German terrorists killing innocent German civilians and American G.I.'s, it was the GERMAN people that had enough of these losers and brought these criminals to justice. Then and only then is when Germany moved back into the civilized world. There are 1.2 billion plus muslims and somebody, or some group from within these people have to take these islamic radicals and "put them into their place". If they don't take action and stand by while more islamic terrorism takes hold, they will then force us to do it FOR them. I don't think they want that nor do we want to do this, but we may HAVE to do this to protect and defend the civilized world. Let's see if true "peaceful" muslims will go after these radicals within their religion. After all, it would be the right thing to do! Will Muslims do the right thing??

The worldwide Islamic terror problem can only be resolved by Muslims. If most Muslims believe that Osama Bin Laden is still a hero, and no efforts are made to correct the situation, the ultimate outcome is unavoidable. The longer Islamic terrorism goes on, the more Islam stands to lose. I suspect that much of the non-Muslim world is losing patience, but I think it will require another big hit in western Europe to solidy the western world's resolve to stop the terrorism. Most Americans are already on board, but we can not take care of the problem alone. The movie Fight 93 and the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui may keep the Islamic terrorism issue in the minds of the criminally forgetful. Another big hit in the West would probably overcome the enormous inertia of rest that now prevents the civilized world from taking actions necessary to solve this perennial problem.
I have read the "Art of War" and I have read "The Prince" and I have read the koran. All three are basic plans of how to conquer, how to kill and how to keep power. Islam was never hijacked even if it sounds nice to say it. It was a religion started in blood and preaches the taking of blood. Anyone who actually is a practicing muslim is actually following a path of hate. Read the Koran and you will see what these people believe and you will see that it does not matter if we kill Bin Laden or any one leader for the directions of how to act towards your enemy, the directions on how to defeat your enemy, the directions on who is your enemy is all in the Koran. Those books on warfare were required reading for me. They should be required reading for everyone so we all know what we are dealing with. Islam has been killing since its inception and has not stopped since. Just look at history, look at now. A holocaust is happening in the Sudan in the name of Islam and people are being raped and murdered elsewhere in Asia, Africa, the middle east and in parts of Europe all in the name of islam as I type this. Yet I will be viewed by some as the bad one for just pointing out what is, is. Islam is a poison that has polluted the minds of many. I do not hate those who are muslim for they are victims of that evil as well. I am just not a fan of evil nor would I excuse it or ignore it.
I saw United 93 today. As Meon stated, this is not one of those movies to make you feel good about yourself. Matter of fact, I could feel my heart pound with rage...as the audience left in deep silence. I recommend everybody see it. Unfortunately, we will have to racial profile these people until they demonstrate through ACTION they can police their own. Everytime I heard them "praise allah", my blood boiled. I hope they show this movie on all of the networks every September 11th...forever. Never forget...never, ever forget!
I am so frustrated with George Bush and the Senate Democrats that I almost hope they catch some terrorists with a suitcase nuke snaeking across the border at Laredo.
