I mean, a little ellipsoidality is fine, to key _some_ seasonal change, especially plant annual cycles, but this damned thing just swoops in and out too damned much. I hear it's even worse in the Southern Hemisphere, because in their case precession works _with_ orbital radial variation. Although now that I come to think of it I don't remember ever hearing it ever snowed in South Africa (mountains, if they have any, don't count) . . . . -- tinmimus99@hotmail.com smeeter 11 or maybe 12 mp 10 mhm 29x13 You want a job and a lizard to ride? < _The Einstein Intersection_
