I have seen so much drama lately on Facebook that I have had to delete everyone in my neighborhood because of all the fighting. 2 neighbors weren't speaking with the other - I was friendly with 2 of them and trying to be civil to the other. They kept giving me **** about having the other on my friends page - telling me she was only on there to be nosy and whatnot so I decided it was best to delete everyone since being thrown in the middle is not my thing. Then my sister who isn't even on facebook was called a douchebag by one of her employees for being 10 minutes late due to a snowstorm. She only found out because about 12 firefighters called the Chief to rat the dude out. She has backed this guy up so many times too. He is currently suspended. Anybody else have any Facebook horror stories?

Well my farm is in shambles. :p
No I started a farm in "farm town" on facebook and I pimped myself out to find "neighbors". Well now I get all of these stories and roses from a whole bunch of people I don't even know. I didn't even think of being able to erase them but even though I might feel guilty about it it sounds like a good idea.
I do have a "friend" that was my very first girl friend. She was 13 and is was 17. We never had sex but she was still my first love. I found her there on facebook and it's great to have yet another friend. We talked about what were thinking back then and how close we came to doing it back then. :p
She is a God loving chrsitan now which makes me think of her as someone that can be a real friend that is a girl.

omg, lol Snafu @ my farm is in shambles. My relatives and other friends used to try to get me to do all that, mafia wars, farmville. I have no interest whatsoever in that stuff. I love that you found your first love. I did too. After 27 years of thinking one thing, I found out that he kept all my things for all that time which surprised me. It brought me and him I believe some closure that we never got. So for those things I am grateful. For having 500 millions friends, I'm not interested. I was getting friend req from total strangers because I am a Patriots fan.
    PS: You should've done it;)

Oh ya go Patriots. I used to be a Bills and a Patriot fan too. I fell out of the loop of football now though.

I have always been the type to not really take things like that seriously. Facebook, myspace, twitter, etc......

I just don't see the attraction.

Me too until my neighbors started insisting I delete the other neighbor and it turned into a war. These people are in their 30's & 40s too  Each was not happy I was still friends with the others, so I canned them all. I only like facebook to see how my family back East is doing.

Maybe call them on the phone?

    ;)

You did the right thing in dropping all of them, the person applying the pressure on you was wrong big time and I most likely would have sent them packing with my foot in their rear for daring to try and force me to do as they wanted me to do.

You said it right, Drama, and I want as little of that Drama in my life as possible, it seems to me things like myspace just adds more drama so I avoid it.

Funny thing. I can't see who posts on my wifes facbook but it puts updates on our email. I got a few emails of "that guy in the reg cage" which is me. People are talking about me to my wife on facebook and she's not even telling them it's her husband they're talking about. Talk about bull**** drama.

If you're real curious and know how she'd answer the security questions, you can hack into her account :D

WhaaT?? What's up with that?! And how come you can't see who posts on her profile? Aren't you one of her friends there?

On another subject, you haven't approved my friend request yet, mister!!*hands on hips*

You can limit who sees your wall posts in Privacy. Just because you're a friend, don't think you're seeing everything. This last facebook reformat changed some of your options, though.

My point is, he's her husband. Why is she hiding stuff from him and letting people talk about him without correcting them. There's something wrong with that.

Facebook blows!!!! Snaf..just talk to her...and fuk facebook. That site seems to do nothing but make people quit communicating in a normal manner. Evolutionary speaking I can see us having no vocal chords in the future. Just a big ol pie hole for eating. Maybe some skinny tiny fingers for texting on the increasingly smaller computers and phones. Bah...huge pet peeve!

    eddo I don't like you.

don't hold back Em, tell us how you really feel. :)

Lol...I can see the value in catching up with old friends. I just would rather get a phone number and call...the whole thing just eliminates the human connection. If all I want to do is tell someone from years ago that I'm putting in a load of laundry...it prolly wasn't really worth reconnecting.

Also...I have loads of loser family on there that I NEVER wanted to talk to before but NOW...I get to hear everything. My buffer is gone...now loozer family is in my fukking living room. For this reason I rarely log in.

As far as couples go..if you are communicating via Facebook..well you may as well call it over. You have no hope of ever connecting on a real level, IMO.

As we all know...my opinion is GOD so deal with it!

I have to say I agree completely with em on this.

I remember taking courses in college where it was said the majority of human comunication was not the words themselves. We gave greater context to the words through body language and inflection of voice for example. Now our society is moving to complete text communication without any non-verbal cues to assist in our communicating.

My family doesn't really much even surf the net. I am the internet queen of my family. We could make our own soap opera. If it didn't piss me off so much it would be pretty entertaining.
I guess I haven't really seen much of face book. I do twitter and follow a few celebrities that I like. I have a my space but it's set to private. I only used it for work. Besides I like to keep it private.

I guess what my point was, was that she had to intentionally hide her status from him using the privacy settings.
