Apparently everyone isn't appeased by the fraudulent birth certificate on Obama's website. This guy's appealing to the supreme court today. And even if he was born in HI, he can no longer be a US citizen at this point. He lost it. He may be naturalized but that would disqualify him right now.

Man, I hate when a 35+ year democrat, attorney has nothing better to do with his time than spread "republican fear tactics" since August of 2008. Surely he knows this has already been proven! People on this forum have said so!

 

I wish him luck. Taking his evidence to be heard in court sure beats complaining about it on an internet forum.

 

The thing is, he's not the one that needs to be providing evidence!!!!!! Obama is applying for a job from the people. He is unwilling to release any information about himself. Why? If you were in the same situation, would you be willing to stall and hope for the case to be dismissed on a technicality again and again, or would you spend half a day, get the information and get it behind you? It seems very simple to me. This apparently has been dragging on since August. Why would anybody let it go on this long?

This guy is getting famous enough to where Obama should have been willing to meet with him personally, WITH the evidence and get it over with. It's too late now.

 

Obama has put up his evidence on his website. If this guy thinks it is does not meet the requirements or is fake or he gave up his citizenship somehow or whatever, then he needs to provide his evidence and the court can decide.

 

So far, everything said negatively about Obama has either been proven false or misleading, so what makes you think this won't either? Why push all the previous lies when this is all that was needed? And why don't you hear these words out of McCain's mouth or the pig with lipstick? Huh?

When will peeps stop believing what they hear second-hand until they can prove it's true?

Seriously, why in the hell would this be the "October surprise"? Something THIS big should have overshadowed the Reverend Wright, Ayers and Rezko stuff BIG TIME!

Did Hillary know this? Oh, she did? Didn't work too well for her but an earth shattering story like this should have been all over the news.

Why would the Republicans keep such a big card under their sleeve when it could have caused SO much damage to the Obama campaign?

Now another question. Let's just say Obama gets voted in as President and it IS true. Who's the President then?

I would think that if it was after inauguration, Biden would be the President. If before the inauguration, I don't know. It would be chaos.

As far as the believability. There, of course, is the chance that there could be something there but I am highly skeptical to say the least.

 

A scanned document passes as evidence now!! Did you guys glance at the form for a split second or did you take some time and look at what's in question on it? Have you compared it with the one that's on FactCheck.org? Or is Obama's word enough?

Toad, are you insane? Nothing has been proven or disproven or this guy would have given up a long time ago. If you will post links here to any verifiable information showing where Obama has released all of his college transcripts I will happily go read them. Quite on the contrary, he's been secretive about everything.
It's always easy to pick out a liberal. They're the ones that won't listen to a thing from the opposite side because in their own mind, they're already right. They can't be wrong. There's never a real, open dialogue. There's no way they could even consider facts from the other side, and they usually fail to provide any facts of their own.

Ok, lets look at this from a different angle. All Obama supporters and even some non-supporters are ready and willing to accept that somebody in the DNC has reviewed and approved Obama. Alright, I am now assuming that this group is so trustworthy, that I don't need any more than their word.

First question: Why don't one or more of these people stand up, put their career on the line and vouch for him? It'd be an easy thing to do.

Second question: The wonderful DNC has proven all thats needed to be proven. They're as solid as a rock. Why would Obama put a scan of it on his website and then also, go to FactCheck.org and try to prove it, with what appears to be a whole other document? Why would he even bother if it's just a given that somebody else has already proven it for him and they should be trusted? Why would he even try to appease people in these ways? It seems awkward to me.

Third question: In a situation this important, why can a simple webiste, which Obama was a board member of, be allowed to verify the document but NOBODY ELSE can. Not even a judge.

This is seriously ok with everyone? No wonder the elections keep getting worse. It's no wonder we have a congress with record low approval ratings.


You can't just look at an important document for a split second and determine yup, it's real, all proven, moving on. This is why the man gets away with it. Anybody who's willing to take EVERY SINGLE thing in life at face value, of course will believe everything that Obama says or does.

I'm not surprised this is happening at all. I wish I could take everything at face value and assume.

Except I can't because I know how much of a scumbag Obama really is and I wouldn't put anything past him or his followers. You guys don't seem to understand how desperate the democratic party have become to snatch the whitehouse back.
They've FINALLY got somebody that they think is a lock to win. It's been a loooong 8 years. If anybody thinks for even a SECOND that any of them would stand up, even Hillary, and accuse Obama of something that might ruin it for the party, you are not in touch with the current political climate. They want this to go away quickly.

Now, why hasn't the republican party brought it up? Good question. I have 3 different theories myself, but maybe it's because they don't want to appear as stooping that low. It would make them look bad if nobody wanted to pursue it (which they don't want to). So what would they have to gain? If somebody did want to pursue it, then they would have something to gain.

It's going to take a lifelong democratic attorney with nothing to lose apparently. I'm eagerly awaiting the Supreme court's decision.

 

If Obama gets elected and is subsequently disqualified, Biden would be the president.

I'm begging to be proved wrong so I can let it go. There are other important issues. I really do want to be wrong. But it isn't happening.

It is up to the person bringing the lawsuit to counter with their evidence to prove their contrary position. If they prove that said cow patty is not valid, then the judge can force the person being sued to provide different evidence or the defendant loses. If he can't prove the cow patty is invalid, then the plaintiff loses.

Another serious question though. Does Mr. Berg have to prove his case via high quality copies, of scans, from the internet? Or, would he have to have the actual document in hand in the courtroom? Is Mr. Berg allowed to obtain the evidence himself? The evidence is either there or not. This should be the easiest open and shut case in human history.

If the consensus here is that it is entirely unreasonable to ask Mr. Obama to provide his birth certificate for analysis in a court of law, than I will drop it for good.

 

If it is after the innauguration, I am sure that is right. However...

The part "until a President shall have qualified" is what I don't understand.

My guess is the judge would have the power to compel Obama to provide whatever documentation he has. Of course, dismissals, appeals, etc all involved.

 

Interesting Joe. I'll take a stab at it. Until a president shall have qualified likely means you redo the election and the voters vote again in order to elect or officially qualify someone as a new president. That's how I read it.

Which one can only imagine the mess this would be and how badly they may try to avoid this. Maybe Clembo was right. Maybe this is a card they're holding for the last minute. Maybe this is why McCain is guaranteeing victory? Who knows?

I did hear a guy from the McCain campaign get asked on the radio the other day about whether or not they had questions about Obama's citizenship eligiblity and the guy said they had none. They had no doubts. Although he didn't go into any details on why they felt this way. This doesn't mean they couldn't just play along and pull the rug out from under him at the last minute and act surprised to find new developments. Maybe they do know something that we don't and I'm wrong.

Both sides have maned up with attorney's, preparing for a legal battle should the election be a close call. No telling what people may or may not do.

 

lol This just begs the question though.... Why would Obama need to be 'compelled'? Isn't the fact that it's gone this far and how easily he could disprove it be compelling enough?

I would find it hard to believe that even the staunchest Obama supporter would actually want to see him stall on this again and wait for a dismissal.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit challenging Barack Obama's qualifications to be president.

U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick on Friday night rejected the suit by attorney Philip J. Berg, who alleged that Obama was not a U.S. citizen and therefore ineligible for the presidency. Berg claimed that Obama is either a citizen of his father's native Kenya or became a citizen of Indonesia after he moved there as a boy.

Obama was born in Hawaii to an American mother and a Kenyan father. His parents divorced and his mother married an Indonesian man.

Internet-fueled conspiracy theories question whether Obama is a "natural-born citizen" as required by the Constitution for a presidential candidate and whether he lost his citizenship while living abroad.

Surrick ruled that Berg lacked standing to bring the case, saying any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was "too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters."

 

This is old news. I already knew this. I love how the person writing this story writes, "Obama was born in Hawaii " as if this was proven by the case when in fact it was not.

Are you actually satisfied with that ruling? The big fancy words at the end just tell me that whether he was born in the U.S. or not is too trivial for the voters to worry about.

The judge didn't do his job or was not allowed to do his job. The case proves nothing.

Which is why he was taking it to the Supreme court yesterday.

 

Well if it is old news perhaps you should have mentioned it as it is relevent to the discussion, it makes no difference if I am happy with the decision or not, I love the way you decide that the judge did not do his job, were you with him when he looked at the evidence presented or are you perhaps a judge yourself?
