McCain blasts super PACs, Citizens United

Sen. John McCain on Sunday attacked super PACs and the Supreme Court ruling that unleashed them on the 2012 presidential race.

"I condemn them on all sides," the Arizona Republican said of super PACs on NBC News's "Meet the Press," "and I condemn the United States Supreme Court for their naivety in the Citizens versus United (sic) decision, which is an outrage."

McCain called out casino owner Sheldon Adelson, who along with his wife have so far given $10 million to a super PAC supporting Newt Gingrich, and hinted he anticipates some kind of scandal to come. "On both sides we have these incredible amounts of money. And I guarantee you there will be a scandal. There is too much money washing around politics. And it's making parties irrelevant, by the way."

Didn't read the link but if McCain is condeming the Supreme Court then he is losing it. There is better language that can be used to get one's point across without attacking what was set up to be a balance of power to the Houses of Congress.

That 'balance between the powers' thing is a myth. There is no true balance, only a superficial one pretending to be real.
