Probably true. I'd like to add to my previous statement though. IMO, Moen has far more reason to stop supporting me, as some of my views are probably less welcome with him than vice-versa, though in most cases not extremely. In fact, I'd say that if you want Moen and I to stop supporting each other you should delve into those nooks and crannies and try to put a wedge in 'em. The cracks are there, the wedges are in my comments... happy hunting.

It's funny that they will sit back and nod like bobble heads at each other's posts but you're not allowed agree with anyone that has views even close to your own. It's just the RW victimization complex rearing its ugly head again. The irony and hypocrisy of their own position is completely lost on them once again.

Yeah pretty much this. The point of a survey is to find out different information, and a lot of information can be gleaned from information based on a persons ethnic background. I don't mean that in any racist way or anything, but from a data analysis point of view it's a valid question. Not only marketing, but political canvassing, economics, all kinds of reasons this question would be pertinent.

It's stupid, and I don't like it, but it is what it is. History, or rather peoples actions throughout history, has caused differences. I wish it weren't so, maybe one day it won't. But there's a whole lot of crazy out there.

 

I'm the type of person who willfully refuses to answer that type of question (where possible), whether it's required of me legally or not. I seriously doubt agents are gonna arrest me over it, but if they ever did, I really wouldn't be much worse off anyway... a nice comfy cell, 23 hours of 'alone-time', Bubba to keep me warm... ok, that last one wasn't pleasant lol, but Bubba can't bug me in Isolation (as opposed to General Population) so I'd wind up there... one way or another.
