"the worst candidate in history"? I call that bullshit. Then again, I'm not a republican. Trump has said some amazingly insane things yet, republican are going to vote for him. The things he's said would cause any normal human being to view him with contempt yet, republicans are still going to vote for him. Now, this thread was started by a republican. Unfortunately, from my perspective, clembo is one of the few republicans that do not let their party affiliation dictate how they should vote. IMO, too many republicans are going to vote for a man who is severely dysfunctional and totally inappropriate for the position of POTUS. I fear for the USA, if Trump were elected. True, many republicans view Clinton with a similar disgust but, from my point of view, their hatred is born of lies. Trump's comments are open for all to see where Clintons are manufactured beliefs with only innuendo is used as proof. Again, Trump's insanity is apparent whereas Clinton's supposed flaws have been manufactured through extreme effort. I don't expect the typical republican to understand the difference, because they've spent too much time and effort to harm Clinton's integrity, but I do have to chastise them for viewing Trump in a positive light when he's said so many negative things that are provable versus manufactured innuendo.
Even though I've made it known that I am no fan of Donald Trump, I could not disagree more. The man is a loose cannon. He needs to resist the temptation to open his mouth until he has more facts and the time to evaluate them. He needs to surround himself with those who recognize that, and keep him timely informed and advised in order to produce good decisions. Citing one of my favorite quotes (Dirty Harry) . . . "A man's got to know his limitations", and then work within them. Armed with good information, and the time to decide, he will turn out superior decisions. Hillary Clinton, despite having the luxury of both good information, and time to make good decisions, consistently makes poor ones. She harmed her own integrity, and needs no help from anyone else (although we do try to help her out). There is nothing to laud her for, nothing to look forward to , and nothing to elect her for. To say her ability to lead disgusts me does injustice to the verb. Anyone who cannot appreciate Trump's potential to lead this country well as compared with Clinton's demonstrated incompetence is willfully ignorant of the facts available, or incapable of reasoning a good decision. I had Donald Trump in the bottom of the GOP barrel last year, and even 4 months ago, but he is now one of only a few choices we have left for president. We can thank both republicans and democrats alike for the choices we now have. Do I like that? . . . of course not, and I will be holding me nose when I vote, and Donald Trump it will be.
No doubt. I have faith that you are wrong to do so, and not just because you rely so heavily on unsubstantiated information. I know there are a lot of people that are so foolish, but I'm hoping that you are very least of the minority opinion. Either way, I have no choice but to accept the outcome with grace.
You do remember him, right? He's the guy all republicans were dead set against until a couple of years ago.
Okay, so now who's displaying his ignorance? Ever heard of other parties besides the Republican and Democrat? I actually hear another name get bandied about with some regularity at the water cooler. I'm not a Gary Johnson fan, but his name and accomplishments have not escaped several voters that I know.
I don't like the man's demeanor, or how he carries himself all that well, but I have a great more respect for his ability to piece together and successfully execute a plan than for Hillary's ability to do the same. Just because you can't find some liberal rag attesting to his business acumen doesn't mean it is unsubstantiated . . . you must read a little too selectively.
Great News! I got my license renewed today! It took me over a month and cost me about $150. It was worth it. I can now drive a killing machine legally after all. Not that I intend to use it for that. It's kind of like buying a gun. MOST people don't buy one to go out and kill people. Still, it happens. Buying a gun would have been much easier. I didn't buy one. Now I can drive to work legally (and any other place for that matter). Silly restrictions aimed at public safety.
You certainly have a strange way of looking at the privilege the state grants you to drive a motor vehicle, but congratulations on getting your license. Now, you can travel in your car to get groceries and go the doctor which, in some instances, might save your life. After all, properly used, a car is just a tool to make your life easier and, hopefully, safer. Hmmmmm.. I guess cars and guns DO have something in common.
Don't put words in my mouth, you worthless worm. But, actually, I like Clembo and would enjoy talking coins with him. So, yes, I wouldn't mind him visiting at all.
