As those who are just getting a feel for me they may have found out I'm not a fan of Trump. I will never refer to him as President (at least not of the U.S.) and even calling him any type of man is pushing it as far as I'm concerned. Someone asked me not long ago if I would vote for him. I let that person know in no uncertain terms that I would vote for my dogs farts before I would vote for Trump. When she lets one fly they sound better for starters. They also have more character, she comes by them honestly and I would surmise they smell better. Enough about my dog though. Let's talk cats. My wife is a pet sitter. She was in an accident Sunday so I've had to help her. This morning it was two dogs and a cat. As the cat strolled away with its tail up I became hysterical. Luckily my wife realized why I became so upset and assured me it was just a cats anus and not Donald Trumps mouth. I've actually just insulted both my dog and a cat by comparing them Trump. I can't stand the guy but with his myriad of lies and stunningly stupid statements he has provided some entertainment. Hence this thread. Feel free to list any of his "Greatest Hits" along with any comments. I'll start off. It's easy and fun. Corona Virus is a hoax. What a horrible lie. Today this "hoax" surpassed 240,00 deaths in the U.S.. He knew about this virus in February, knew it was nasty and yet called it a hoax in March. Why not. It was fake news reporting on it and not Fox. Now that the election is over and he lost are we still "turning the corner" on it. Another lie. It's getting worse just as Dr. Faucci and those other idiots (as he called them in a Tweet) said it would. How about the "worst witch hunt in American" history line. Oft repeated whenever someone called him on a lie or just plain stupidity. Not that it would trouble me to see him burned at the steak (well done with ketchup) but I figure there were some young ladies in Salem back in the day that would beg to differ. Here's one I saw recently that was indeed a whopper. Insulin is almost as cheap as water thanks to him. Luckily water isn't the same cost as insulin. As a diabetic that injects himself five times daily I can assure you if my water costed as much as insulin my water bill would be in the millions of dollars. Perhaps he meant some of his friends in big pharma only spend the equivalent of the price of water to manufacture it. I really don't know but rest assured it is NOT cheap. Speaking of big Pharma Mikey Pence got off a good lie today. Thanks to the Trump administrations help Pfizer is that much closer to having a Covid vaccine ready. Pfizer has already said that the Trump administration had nothing to do with the development. Okay, one more before I leave. Donald Trump has done more for the African American people than any other President with maybe the exception of Abraham Lincoln. I live in a fairly mixed area. Perhaps I'll start asking that question soon but somehow I doubt it and sincerely doubt it had a huge impact on how black Americans voted. Gotta go for now. Please feel free to chip in. President Trump was duly elected and I have respect for the office, though I may not respect the individual who holds it. I'll note his degradation of our international alliances. Treating allies of decades like red-headed step children while simultaneously buddying up to dictators and authoritarians. Selling out the Kurds who'd been our staunch allies fighting beside our soldiers. His behavior on the international stage has been abysmal. His disdain for those who serve in the military should not be forgotten either. Cadet Bonespurs, on long-range reconnaissance patrol in the discos of Manhattan, risking the dreaded clap. He should have got a medal. I never watched the ridiculous television show that he starred in, because I considered him a vile creep long before it ever came on the air. Apparently plenty of people took the carefully edited and scripted version of Trump seen on that show as a true representation of the man. The illusion would have been lost on me.
