Does Hollywood have a negative impact on this world?

I say that in some aspects it really does. There is the pressure to be thin with no wrinkles and look perfect all the time. Yet at the same time it is nice to hear celebs doing good by donating time and money for good causes. What are your thoughts?

 

Honestly Angie I think that the main reason that Hollywood has an impact on the world is that "common folks" are stupid enough to follow their every move.
If a person that lives in a trailer park gets tossed in jail for a DUI it's not news. If it's Paris Hilton etc. it is and they get slapped on the wrist.

Who cares? Same offense right? This is why "newspapers" like the Enquirer exist. Stupid people that follow stupid people.

 

I do not follow too many stars. I am most interested in when they do good for the world, like donating money to a charity or something along those lines.
