Disgruntled Democrats vs Radical Republicans

Well, there is only one direction left thanks to the idoits we currently are enjoying in the White House...That would be UP!

Let's not ever forget how we ended up in this mess in Iraq. All the lies, all the misinformation, all the arrogance, now it falls to the Democrats to come up with a way to get us out of this cesspool when all of the opportunites have been squandered, all of the avenues closed by complete and total incompetent morons. So if the democrats can't fix what Bush has broken, suddenly they are the bad guys. Logic like that keeps us from addressing the real problem of Islamic terroism and endangers us all. Sometimes I just want to move to Tahiti. :headbang:

 

Now, now that's a bit extreme Not trying to rile you up but an open secret in the US military (at least here at Ellsworth, AFB SD, and Dyess, AFB TX -- the two homes of the B-1 bomber) is that the weapons were moved into the Bekaa Valley before the invasion and are currently still buried in Syria. The operations side of the house has them targeted. Notice that only extremest individuals with political agendas are the ones yelling "Where are the weapons, there never were any weapons."

On the other hand, the bad-guys are hoping that the uproar about them will die-down and we'll eventually think they never were, (out of sight, out of mind). They can then get hold of these (Biological) weapons and modify them into roadside bombs or something which can be delivered individually, possibly causing mass hysteria and death. One must remember that some bio-weapons do lose their lethality over time.

There are 'Weapons of Mass Destruction' in Syria and that's the reason the B-1 Bomber is still being deployed to the area (Diego Garcia) so when/if the order is given that Syria is an (A) target they'll be taken out, "toot-sweet."

I think the burden of proof for weapons of mass destruction is clearly on those that claimed they existed in the first place. To turn it around and say, "They are there and when they surface you'll have to eat crow" is to say the least a bit of hyberbole and wishful thinking. Think about it, if all these weapons were moved prior to the invasion, wouldn't we have hundrends of 8x10 glossy satelite photos of the trucks and their cargos location all over the news by now to bolster Bush's reasons for the invasion? It's not like we weren't watching them.

 

Who's to say there not??? 'Classified Cosmic Top Secret.' Not everything is for public dissemination, there are secrets that aren't leaked, and those which are leaked are done so for a purpose.

I can't figure out why anyone in this country thinks the Democrats are expected to dig us out the deep, deep hole Bush as dug for this country. He has had the Whire House, the Senate, the House and a pretty inept opposition for the past 6 years and all he managed to do is back us into a corner and force us to choose between the least worst option to get out of this situation.

I don't want you to think that I am lowering expectations for the new Democratic congress but what do you really expect them to do, pull a rabbit of a hat at this point. They will be forced to make Bush or his eventual successor choose the least worst option and then get blamed for losing the war by the Republicans. That's how it's going to play out whether you like that outcome or not, it's just politics at this point. How sad for the soldiers and their families to be caught in the middle of this BS. The war on terrorism will continue on other fronts and thanks to Bush Iraq gets to play a much larger part in that terrorism game. :secret: You heard it here first.

 

If your reffering to my EARLIER post about wishing the new congress luck, I agree with you on some points. True, maybe someone who isn't so darn arrogant when being asked questions is a good start and have a #2 who's not in the back pocket of big business and always at an undisclosed location. All these add up to an administration which reeks of corruption (whether or not it's true).

Bush has the nation on this track for reasons which haven't been (and may never) be fully divuldged to the public. I for one support the decisions made to invade Afghanistan and Iraq. You must underatand the Middle East is not like the western world. Borders mean nothing and religion rules over Heads of State, RADICAL FASCIST RELIGION. This in an area which controls virtually all the illicit drugs, and virtually all the oil in the world. It adds up and 2+2 doesn't equal CAT.

Like I posted long ago, there is information (classified) which I assure you makes the actions of going into Afghanistan and Iraq fully justifable. Heck, we may even be too late...

I predict a draft within the next 20 years, drug dealers being sentenced to death, and you'll begin to see the crime of Treason being enforced. Sad but true. Just call me Nostradamus (vbg) :hammer: :hammer:

 

I've heard confirmations of the same information by people in Iraq and friends in New Mexico. It's clear that many weapons and programs have been moved out of Iraq, even years prior to the run up the war.

But SOOOO WHAT. This man was sitting on trillions of dollars and could have a nuclear program any time he wanted to. He was playing a waiting game with the US and fortunately we had a fidgity president.

The democrats in conjunction with the ACLU are plotting to turn us into the socialist society or modern progressives. Where everyone except the elite (read flaming liberals in power) share the wealth, and abortion is offered by street vendors like hotdogs, and vegas weddings are man to woman, man to man, woman to woman, man to woman to woman to man to vegetable, man to beast, woman to inanimate object, etc. and where anyone who wanders across the borders is immediately given citizenship and figured into the wealth sharing operation. Government will be a body of liberal progressives out of hollywood that hand down decisions on what is the new law for the changing times and the constitution will be used for note paper. Oh and America will apologize to anyone and everyone who feels oppressed by our mere existance Amen

 

Regarding the original question...

I don't think there is a [clad] dimes worth of difference between the Dems and GOP on basic policy issues or where they want to take the nation. They both want the same thing, and disagree on only two points: (1) who should be in charge, and (2) how to fund it with the dems preferring taxes and more direct involvement, and the GOP preferring debt and more multi-national corporate involvement. My own opinion is that anyone with strong party loyalties either way is completely oblivious to the reality of the situation, which is the intent.
