Democrats Plan for Defense Spending Cuts

Just in the first 100 days (or hours or whatever) of the new 'Left Coast Congress' plans for the proposed cut in Defense Spending have been leaked out...

 

Oh, I'm sure the Republicans will trump up another conflict soon enough to get the country to increase the military budget in no time. We need to constantly have an enemy so that we can feed the military industrial complex the lions share of our tax dollars. After all, more weapons makes us safer and stronger, Right? Our purely defensive posture is working out so well for us that we might as well just toss out the civilian government hand over the reins of power to the military and devote our entire Federal Budget to the war effort(s). And people mock military intelligence. encil:
