I just bought a new Big Chief smoker. I'm gonna smoke up some red salmon as soon as I get the chance. I'm gonna try a different recipe. Any suggestions?
I wanna come overrrrr. That's my suggestion. I come over and help you. I had Mum's smoked sockey salmon recipe...but not sure where it is these days. *sigh. Moved to East coast and these rubes have never HEARD of sockeye. Can ya imagine?
Smoked salmon. One of my favs. Nothing better than a day on the boat in Lake Michigan fishing for coho and kings.
Protein salad! Mix of cucumbers, black olives and canned chicken....then add lemon juice and salt to taste.
Do you know anybody that doesn't? Truly I can't think of one person that I know of . BBQ chicken pizza!! That's a good change of pace.
Best chili in the world! Wendy's chili The Recipe : 2 lbs. fresh ground beef 1 qt. tomato juice 1 (29 oz.) can tomato puree 1 (15 oz.) can red beans, drained 1 medium onion (1 1/2 c.), chopped 1/2 cup celery, diced 1/4 cup green pepper, diced 1/4 cup chili powder 1 tsp. cumin (if you like real flavor, add more) 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper In a frying pan, brown the ground beef; drain. Put the drained beef and the remaining ingredients into a 6-quart pot. Cover the pot; let it simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
Okay I tried the Wendy's recipe for chili. Besides using a tbs instead of a tsb on the cummin it went pretty well. But I like alot of flavor. So I got a whole pot of chili no one will eat but me. To good to be true!
