Criticize Obama? You're Fired!

Can you say...."Fox spin?"

 

I have seen Fox twist a nothing story into a pretzel to make Obama look bad often enough to not even bother reading their take on anything. Their type of journalism has two damaging consequences. First, they are dismissed immediately because they have twisted so much, so often, and second, even when they have the facts straight, who would believe them because of their reputation for spinning the truth.

Now I don't know what the actual facts are in this incident but if I wanted to know, Fox isn't where I'd go to find out. That's not simply my bias, it has far more to do with the reputation they have created for themselves. If Fox told me the sun would rise in the east tomorrow morning, I'd probably get up before sunrise just to make sure.

I find it hysterically ironic that the liberals on this forum are complaining about bias in the media.

 

You missed the innuendo, inferences, slander, spin, half-truths, disinformation, fabrications, omissions, and plain old lies. But to be fair, it comes across far better with a smiling blond on the TV set selling it with a gleam in her eye.

How many soldiers died in Afghanistan this week? If Bush was still President, you would know the answer because it would have been the lead story on every liberal media outlet every day of the week.

Does the term false equivalence give you sexual pleasure. You seem to use at every turn, facts be damned. The fact is that there has been a liberal bias in the media for decades. Fox news while biased in it's own right, simply levels the playing field. You damn liberals had a monopoly on media bias for so long it has turned you into whining spoiled brats. But I need to understand this for a minute. I made a simple comment about the irony of liberals complaing about media bias. At this point, you responded to my post and obviosly did not have me on your troll ignore list. You post your typical "false equivalence" crap which I promptly blow out of the water in my next post. Included in that post, I referred to all liberals as whining spoiled brats. If you were not a liberal (and a thin skinned one at that), you would see that my characterization is spot on. I didn't not call you some mean and nasty name. Hell, I didn't even throw in my typical clown reference.

So here is the moment of truth with only two possible scenarios. The first scenario is that my calling liberals (including you) whining spoiled brats caused you so much pain that you had to elevate me to troll status on you Lehigh hate-o-meter. The other scenario is that you were wrong, there is (and has been for decades) a real liberal media bias. I proved the bias with one sentence and you had no way out but to admit you were wrong or pretend your feelings were hurt by the big bad troll.

And don't worry, I don't respect you at all. This whole thing reminds me of a scene in Jaws when Quint told Hooper.

Dr moen has a history here of not being able to particiapte in any substative debate. It has been his pattern to post, try to defend it with ginned up (his & Pelosi's term) links then throw a tantrum when someone has the audacity to not agree with his "wisdom". It's really quite funny to watch him self-destruct when he meets a bit of resistance. As I've said before, he is ill-equipped to handle life outside the vacuum in which he lives- the one where naive & easily intimidated young coeds are bullied into agreement.

 

So far no deaths this week but I can tell you the total stands at 40 dead American service personel this month so far And we in the UK have lost 3

 

But LeTroll believes that since the number of US deaths isn't as high as it was in the beginning and the war is simply old news at this point, it must be that everyone but Fox is consumed with a liberal bias. It just another case of CONS-Serving-Themselves beliving something first and looking for only the things that back-up their already held beliefs. No wonder you never find them in academia. The scientific method is a strange concept to them. Easy answers unsupported by anything but opinion is all they know.

But since the liberal media bias is actually true, nobody knows that more Americans are dying every month because it almost never gets reported. And when it does, it is usually a footnote in a broadcast and not the lead story like it was every day during the Bush administration.
