    ...for whom?

Looks like Bush and Cheney will avoid it. Damn shame.

Of course there's always the Hague.

Only 22 days left! It will happen though, and with any luck they will be arrested as war criminals.

Condi's out of her mind and has been for quite some time. However, the possibility is slim that people will thank him. Slim and none and Slim may be leaving soon along with Bush.

Gtanted 9/11 would be a horrible situation for ANY President to face. I'll give him that but his actions in the ensuing years have had little or no benefit to this country.

Methinks he will go down as one of the worst if not THE worst Presidents in history. He's earned it.

    You are absolutely dilusional!

The war/occupation of Afghanistan and I'm even going to bet Iraq, will be going on to some degree, 4 years from now. I wouldn't be surprised to see wars expand in the next 4 years. One simple terrorist attack and it all starts over. Guaranteed. At the least, what we have now will continue. They won't know what else to do and will be scared to death of anything going wrong and having the blood on their hands.

I can't wait to see what ALL these WONDERFUL democrats have planned to fix everything. I'm SUUURE they have a plan! Don't they?? I just can't wait. I'm all ready for everything to get better now. The damage is done. Now the dems will get to work ( 3 whole days a week if Pelosi has her way!) and somethings gonna happen. Yippee.

BTW Isaiah, don't be a stranger to this forum once the truth starts unfolding. I'll be looking for answers.

I dont knock you for your wishes I think we would all like world peace but as I have just said in another post to expect Obama to deliver it is unrelistic, what will you feel when he cant do it? Will you then rant at what a useless President he has been?? and all because you expected way too much from the man.
How can he stop people who are not even on the same continent from killing each other?? hell there are still people in the Americas living in appaling poverty so how can he cure that on a world stage or hunger?? All the man can do is to try and set things into motion to improve the lot of people, starting with America itself.
To many of the countries in the world have goverments or harbour those who would happily kill us, then they come to us hat in hand when something goes wrong expecting us to bail them out. (by us I mean America and the UK)
Perhaps it is time to focus our aid on those who help us for a change and also on the home fronts.

It is more than unrealistic. It is really the height of arrogance to think that a your ruler can or will bring world peace.

Does anyone think that the French people expect their leader can bring world peace? The Swedish? How about the Brits, De Orc? Much talk about your leaders bringing world peace?

Truthfully, I am ambivalent of desire to bring world peace. The whole concept of making the world 'safe for democracy 'or 'bringing world peace' is no different than the neo-conservative (ie George Bush) idea of exporting democracy and controlling the world so it doesn't descend into chaos.

We would be better served by bringing peace and prosperity to our own countries and only dealing with those other countries that threaten our own peace and prosperity.

We need peace, war is evil and accomplishes nothing. Also I believe the French are the greatest world power because they surrender when presented with the prospect of war. That is the greatest choice that a nation could make.

There shall be no need for answers, world peace will take control and the forces of it will present themselves in such a way as to be self explanatory.
