Jesse Watters Confronts Cop-Killing Columbia Professor Fox's Jesse Watters headed to Columbia University to get the community's reaction to the decision to hire Kathy Boudin, a convicted cop killer, and confronts the controversial professor about her actions. Former Weather Underground radical Kathy Boudin — who spent 22 years in prison for a 1981 armored-car robbery that killed two cops and a Brinks guard in Rockland County, NY — now holds a prestigious adjunct professorship at Columbia University’s School of Social Work. Below is a letter written by Michael Paige, whose father Peter Paige was shot and killed by Boudin's crew..... Grave Injustice My name is Michael P. Paige. I am the son of Peter Paige, the Brink's guard who was murdered on October 20, 1981, during an armored car robbery in Nyack, New York, by members of the Weather Underground. Although those involved in my fathers murder are not worth the breath it takes to speak of them, nor of the time spent writing this letter, I nonetheless feel compelled to respond to the recent attention given to Kathy Boudin, who I understand is now a professor at Columbia University, and who has recently used her provided platform to speak about her associates, her fellow terrorists, who are still in prison, telling anyone who would listen, how she is remembering them...thinking of them...and wanting to be with them again. Although I will never comprehend how a University would hire a murderer as a professor, I have come to realize that I cannot control what others do or say, and that if Columbia University wishes to hire a murderer to teach its students, there is nothing I can do. However, I can not and will not sit idly by, as that murderer uses the post given to her to portray herself as some sort of victim, as someone who is deserving of anything, and as someone who is now pining to be reunited with her fellow murderers, outside of those prison walls, as though it is some sort of right that is due to her and to them just because of the passage of time. For those that say that she has "served her time", I implore them to ask honestly of themselves, if it were their father, or their husband, or their brother or other loved one that was murdered, would you still be of that opinion. I can guarantee you the answer would be no. Because I, as well as my Mother, and my Brother, and my Sister can tell you that still after 31 years has passed, there is not a day that goes by that we don't miss him, that we don't think of him, that we don't wish that he could be back here with us. He never got to meet my wife or dance at my wedding. Instead, on our wedding day, I along with my bride, visited his grave. He never got to kiss his wife, the love of his life, goodbye. He never got the opportunity to hold his grandchildren. There are so many things that we never got to share with him and never will. On that fateful day our entire worlds were taken from us by Kathy Boudin and the other members of the Weather Underground. And for those that say she wasn't the "triggerman", don't be fooled. There was an intricate plan, there was a robbery, there were murders. Without her involvement and participation, and without the involvement and participation of her fellow Weather Underground terrorists, my father, Peter Paige, Sergeant Edward O'Grady and Officer Waverly Brown would not have been murdered that day. So let us call her what she truly is...not Dr...., not Professor..., but MURDERER. And for that her time will never be served. The day that my father, Peter Paige, Sergeant Edward O'Grady and Officer Waverly Brown come walking back into our lives, is the day that Kathy Boudin and her fellow terrorists debts to society will be repaid. It was a grave injustice that she was ever released from prison. If she wants so badly to talk about her fellow murderers who are still in prison...and to remember them...and to hopefully be with them again...I say open the prison gates and let her back in...then lock the door and throw away the key...she deserves it. I saw that blurp on O'Reilly last night. I still wonder how these "anti-gun", "peace loving" liberals can possible justify hiring a convicted murderer - and she used a gun!
My favorite line in the story is... holds a prestigious adjunct professorship.... Ah ha ha ha ha ha! Do you know what an adjunct is? Did you guys completely miss the story of a Right-wing terrorist in Minnesota this week? Stop worrying about people from 30 years ago and start worrying about terrorists busted this week.
Oh, that's right, cop-killing & terrorism has a statue of limitations...just ask BO about hos mentor.
Well, I wouldn't exactly call it a "statue" of limitations but it does seem to have resolved itself... Kathy Boudin — who spent 22 years in prison View attachment 1625
Why should this woman even be walking the halls of Columbia, adjunct or not? Stop making excuses for these terrorists and murderers just because they're left-wing radicals.
Please feel free to point out any excuse I have made rather than just saying I did. It's a much more effective argument.
....prestigious adjunct professorship! Too funny. Oh, now it makes sense.... http://nation.foxnews.com/columbia-...ters-confronts-cop-killing-columbia-professor
How is that an excuse? Where do I defend any actions by anybody? Now, since you can't seem to bring yourselves to talk about a Right-wing terrorist from this century, which you'd think logically would be far more of a concern, allow me to bring you wing nuts up to speed. Montevideo terror suspect, Black Snake Militia known to cops MONTEVIDEO, MINN. – The Black Snake Militia’s home base is the Rogers family trailer on the north end of town, where the group’s initials are spray-painted on a repurposed Farm Bureau sign and passerby are greeted by a handmade warning about the dangers of government tracking devices. “We are not slaves,” the cardboard placard says. The Rogerses say it’s merely a meeting place for a group of family, friends “and whoever wants to join” their self-made militia, which preaches against government intrusion into citizens’ lives. But according to the FBI, the trailer was a storage site for potentially deadly explosives plotted for use in a terrorist attack against the police department in this western Minnesota town. The FBI arrested Buford “Bucky” Rogers here Friday after authorities seized a Romanian assault rifle and other guns, suspected pipe bombs and Molotov cocktails from the modest trailer where Rogers’ parents and younger brother live. All Bucky Rogers is guilty of, his parents said Tuesday, is being outspoken about their group’s anti-government beliefs. “He speaks his piece,” his father Jeffrey Rogers said. “And the government don’t like people that speak their piece.” As to what Bucky Rogers, 24, said or did to trigger the raid remains unknown to his parents, and authorities aren’t saying yet. Rogers, who is charged with a single count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, will make his next court appearance Wednesday afternoon before federal Magistrate Judge Jeanne Graham. Montevideo Police Chief Adam Christopher said Rogers and his alleged activities came as no surprise. “We’ve kind of known for several years about their feelings, and this is not something that just popped up overnight,” he said of the father and son, known for wearing camouflage “almost daily.” He added, “This was something that we’ve been watching very closely for some time.” The raid took place Friday with the cooperation of local law enforcement he said, because “we had to act.” He declined to elaborate. Although Bucky lived across town with his girlfriend and their baby son in a two-story house in a quiet neighborhood, he frequently stopped by his parents’ trailer to visit. He came over from work during Friday’s raid, where he was arrested. Christopher said no search was performed at the home Bucky Rogers shares with his girlfriend because there was no probable cause to believe any weapons were there. The Rogers home in Big Bend, a small town of about 40 people northwest of the city, where they used to live was also searched, but nothing of interest was found. Christopher couldn’t say he believed Rogers was capable of a terroristic act against Montevideo police or others. “I don’t know if I believe that or not,” he said. “Certainly they have the capabilities and had some feelings.” Christopher said the family moved to the city from Big Bend in 2009. Since then, Bucky Rogers’ crimes have included garage burglaries that led to a felony conviction in Lac qui Parle County in 2011. Other offenses include gas theft, expired tabs, driving after suspension and possession of marijuana. Despite the rap sheet, most of the police contacts with the Rogers’ family were cordial and respectful, “at least outwardly,” Christopher said. Christopher said that contrary to reports by neighbors, Bucky Rogers and his family did not appear to be white supremacists. “The last time I saw him he was walking around with a black guy,” he said. “I really don’t think it was a white supremacy thing. It was more of a militia-patriot type thing. http://www.startribune.com/local/206530621.html
We have talked plenty about "Right-wing terrorism". You make sure of that. There was Laughner, Palen, Boston, etc. - all soundly renounced by the right. Now when we talk about Left-wing terrorism, all you can do is change the topic because it has been endorsed by the left.
I'd talk about Left-wing terrorism if there was enough to talk about and I'd be the first to criticize anyone, Left, Center, or Right for any act of terrorism. I'm just not willing to go backwards decades to hash over things that have no bearing on today's events while you wing nuts ignore the truth of today's events because you find them inconvenient. Your pathetic pattern is more than obvious by now.
Funny, but you seemed awfully silent about the OWS, Wisconsin, etc. In fact, I seem to remember trying to justify it;
Little Joe, will you be among those to condemn Columbia's decision to have a convicted murderer roaming its halls under the guise of "professor"?
