California is losing beaches and property to erosion.
I must have missed the clarion call.

Man moved to California, built houses on the beach and/or bluffs overlooking the ocean. Erosion has necessitated the construction of billions of dollars of seawalls to protect the dwellings of the interlopers. Mother Nature formed and reformed the coastline for eons and is now reclaiming her territory.
To paraphrase: Wrath hath no fury like a Mother scorned.
Why are we not hearing from the fear mongers about Global Warming/Climate Change.
    Hello, Albert, hello!

Let's pray for them. Most are very confused liberals and illegal aliens but they are humans in trouble.

Mother Nature is constantly reinventing our planet. I remember hurricane Hugo changing a resort island on our coast into a small island chain……. When I bought my wife her dream shack in the marsh I felt it was the most ill advised financial move of my life. The King tides come up into my yard. But we have weathered two tropical systems so far and I figure I don’t have a whole lot longer to be worried about it anyway. So we will enjoy our remaining years in the pluff mud.

I'm always willing to help one who is really trying to help himself or herself in earnest.

I'll pray for them . . . to come to their senses.

I know one beach resort where houses have lasted for a thousand years or so…
    Pompeii.
