^ moths ago I would have bet anyone any amount of money that Hillary would be the next President of the United States (man I was depressed about that) but after a very bad performance at a debate recently where she took three sides to the same issue, her numbers and support has been dropping steady. Yesterday her husband who has been working tirelessly to help her get elected told people he "opposed (war in) Iraq from the beginning." but in an interview with Time magizine in 2004 he said this: "So, you're sitting there as president, you're reeling in the aftermath of (Sept. 11), so, yeah, you want to go get (Usama) bin Laden and do Afghanistan and all that. But you also have to say, 'Well, my first responsibility now is to try everything possible to make sure that this terrorist network and other terrorist networks cannot reach chemical and biological weapons or small amounts of fissile material. I've got to do that.' That's why I supported the Iraq thing," Each day new stories of campaigh finance scandles and inconsistant possitions make the news and a recent poll showed that every leading Republican canidate has a slight advantage aver Hillary for the election so clearly the destiny has changed for her. I admit, I am a conservative and do not like her socialist agenda but I am still stunned at how she could have lost so much momentum. With the hatred against Bush to fall back on, I did not think there was any way a Republican had a chance to get elected this time. An interesting point is the same poll showed that if Hillary did not get the nomination, then the republicans still lose, I wonder if the Democrats will give the nomination to someone else so they can win or let her lose to get sympathy for future elections?
I'd love to see Obama and Hillary on the same ticket. Now that would make the Republicans sh*t themselves. However I don't really have a huge amount of interest as I don't live in America.
Starting to sound more like her husbands campaign. He was doing the same waffling the first time he debated. She'll survive and win the nomination. After she does we'll see Obama as her VP and the U'S. will have 2 firsts. A female pres and black vp.
I hate to agree with you but I see her in the White House too. And what gets me is how gullible people are that they can't see her waffling. She will say anything to get in. Even lie about her stances. Once in, look out!
I cannot see her in the White house. I don't think America is ready and I don't think Americans are that stupid.
I just can't see it. I'm not saying that it's impossible, I'm just saying, I don't see it happening. America likes us to much to force us to move to Canada.
