If I were assumed to agree with everything I have not specifically disagreed with just on this site, I would probably be assumed to be the most evil person on earth. Not specifically disagreeing with anything in no way connotes agreement with it and beside that, you posted it immediately after his post not referencing it.

He said they were evil and did not deny he was talking about the entire population. How then are we to know if he isn't when he fails to confirm a question? sorry if that upsets you but you expect others to be precise so why not David?

 

I am defending China from being labeled 'evil'. I believe it's unwarranted to call it that.

Yes, there are human rights issues (as there are in the U.S., though the U.S. is in denial about that), yes, there are environmental issues (again, the U.S. can't deny it's negative impact on the environment), yes, their leadership is extremely aggressive both foreign and domestically (See: The U.S.)... but if China is considered to be evil, then so is the U.S.

The other thing is that you have to seperate the government from it's people. The general population of China is just like the U.S.'s, in that they just want to live their lives in peace, have good health, raise a family, etc.

I have issues with China myself, but not so much so that I'd call it, or any part of it, 'evil'. I also have issues with the U.S. IMO, the U.S. has made too many mistakes that have allowed China to become what it is now, or will be soon, the top country in the World.

Even my own country has Human rights issues but I woudnt call it a evil country nor would I call the US a evil country To be honest I cant think of a single country on planet earth I would call evil, some regims I might call Evil/unsavory/corrupt etc certainly

Well you allways seem to know what others think and make assumptions based on those ideas so why shoudnt everyone else? And of course you still fail to deny that the entire population is evil!
