Do you think that children today are rude? I happen to think that they are and need to be taught some respect. I am a preschool teacher and the other day one of my 4 year olds said whatever to me. Not too happy about that. Show me some respect!
It's not all or nothing. My wife's sister has to have the rudest kids I have ever met. They have been that way since they were able to demonstrate rudeness as a human characteristic. On the other hand, my wife and I have been complimented about the politeness of our three boys by people who have known them a long time and complete strangers alike. For example, if I were to take my kids out to a restaurant, they would all thank both myself and their mother after we were finished. They would also thank the waiter/waitress every time something was brought to them. Children aren't universally rude or disrespectful, they have to learn it from their parents....or not.
Not realy I know some realy well mannerd kids as well as some who are little monsters LOL but guess what when I was a kid myself the same mix was around
Well put, both of you. I don't blame the kids, I blame the parents....and it seems to be getting worse.
Well, I commend you for raising polite children. I do have some that are polite, but many of them in my room are just rude and impolite. I do not think that I was like that when I was a child. And yes they do learn it from their parents!

I agree with you there. The reason children are like this is because of the parents. And yes it is only getting worse. I would have never talked to an adult the way some of these children talk to them. I would have gotten a whippen!
