I do not really think it makes much difference what he thinks or is planning for the future and probably not even whether or not any of his accusers have a valid case, at this stage the public no longer has any interest in him continuing.

Not true! I'd love to see Herman Cain win the nomination. The closing of the Herman Cain Art Project is a sad day for America. Oh Herman, won't you reconsider? :)

Done. Regardless of what he wants to call it.

The way I understand it suspend means he can still collect money which can be used to pay off debt. Quitting cuts off the supply.

I"ve also heard rumors that he should spend more time at home with his wife. He needs to get used to sleeping on the couch.
No piece of that pizza for a while.;)

Only God knows for sure but I'm sure He'll fill Herman in on this one.

I think if he actually quits, he can still raise money but it can only go to pay off existing campaign debt. I am actually not even sure there is a category of 'suspended' (as far as campaign rules) so I suspect he can raise and spend money as if he was still an actual, viable candidate.

It's just more of the same with him, I guess. There is still almost a year before the election, so he's got plenty of time to come out running again. I think, though, if he's smart he'll stay "suspended" and quietly fade into the background. Someone accused him recently of never being serious about running for president, but rather being on a book tour--I wouldn't say I doubt it much.
