Bush Economy Good For Minorities

    From The Washington Post:

Hispanics in the United States are opening businesses at a rate that is three times as fast as the national average, according to a report released yesterday by the U.S. Census Bureau. [...] and Ying Lowrey, senior economist at the Small Business Administration's advocacy office, said minority-owned firms represent the fastest-growing segment of the nation's economy.

This is interesting because if you ask liberals/Democrats, the only people that have made out good under the Bush economy have been rich, white males... Well, besides this news, we also know that minority home-ownership is up at its highest levels...

When it comes down to it, the Bush has been mighty good for minorities...:kewl:

Tell me about it! A hispanic couple and their 3 small children moved in to the house next to me. That was 4 weeks ago and since then she has given birth to 4 more adults (2 women, 2 men) and about 6 more children. Also 4 more cars have mysteriously appeared in the driveway. I went to introduce myself to them and guess what? None of them can speak English. Can I say that our Govt. is very giving to "Illegal" minority's as well.

I agree Old Dan. There are millions of people in India and China who would not have the jobs they have if Bush hadn't pursued economic and tax policies that encouraged businesses to send them there. But to be fair, Clinton did the same and people will never learn that both parties are bought and paid for. Supporting either party is the same thing as rooting against your children and grandchildren. The article you quote is correct, the only way that many people are going to be able to work in the future is to go into business for themselves.

Hurricane Katrina was what's known in the insurance business as an act of God, not an act of Bush. Unless you're saying God and President Bush are one and the same.

No, I was saying that the minorities in New Orleans probably don't think Bush has been all that good to them.

Another thing that should be pointed out is that when someone works hard, starts a business and makes a success of their life, the president doesn't deserve any credit -- the individual does. When someone sits around and waits for the government to help them out or make them prosperous, and it doesn't happen, they shouldn't be surprised at the outcome.

Perhaps government is part of the natural selection process. The people dependent on it are eventually destroyed by their dependency and their DNA is removed from the human gene pool. The people who persevere and succeed while basically ignorning and/or working around the government end up at the top of the food chain.

Ask a liberal and they will tell you Bush was responsible for Kratina and he is also responsible for making sure all the minorities in New Orleans make $100,000 per year.

Damn that Bush...he has to be the devil...isn't he??

I find it odd that after all that has been posted here, you can only see the world as YOU and the dreaded LIBERALS. I can't think of anybody that still thinks that way. You are the #1 political dinosaur on the planet. I know. I know. You're going to accuse me of name calling, BUT, it isn't really name calling if its true.

What did he do now? Unlock all the business doors so they don't have to break in through the windows anymore.

Bush should have warned all the people effected by Katrina BEFORE the storm hit. He could have gone door to door warning people. At the same time, he could have been handing out government checks.

    Damn Bush...Katrina is his fault.

Here is my free advice for everyone. Take it or leave it, I don't care but I feel obligated to warn you.

The whole liberal-conservative debate might have had some validity up to and including the end of the Reagan administration. Since then, the artificial division has been used by politicians as a tool to misdirect the attention of people to unimportant issues while the real work [damage?] is done behind the scenes. I know it is fun to take shots at perceived liberals if you are conservative and c's if you are l's, but it is really pointless. The world has moved beyond you to issues of globalism vs. nationalism and to the survival or destruction of the Repbulic; and you don't even realize it. Anyway, all of you dinosaurs have fun doing exactly what the politicians hope you do. The shepard doesn't care what color the sheep are, as long as they remain sheep. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa to all of you.

Just ask people SPECIFICALLY here in the forum what they support and believe in...not how well they can throw "mud" when they have nothing constructive to rebute a statement...or offer constructive debate.

For instance, I stated that I support everything from school/private account choice to belief that the individual should have more control of their tax dollars than the government. I also stated (and showed) how our government's spending is out of control and suggested that we need fiscal discipline (i.e., cutting out the Department of Education and giving ALL of those dollars back to local state and counties).

If that make me an evil conservative, big freakin' deal, I don't care...that makes me right! I am willing to stand behind my convictions and let natural selection run its course.

Just once, I would love to see the left argue with facts, logic, and rational their support for their government programs...not the same "Bush is evil" B.S. It gets old and it is nothing more than a diversion from their inability to argue dollars, history, fact, and logic.

Old Dan, I wasn't speaking about the "sheep industry." Unfortunately, I actually have to explain that.
