Hey Cloudsweeper, does your ID mean you have a pilots license? Just always wondered about that. Thanks
No, it's actually an ID that my son made up for me years ago and I continue to use it wherever possible.
Okay, I'll take your advice and try to read between the insults to understand your contribution to the discussion. Basically, all I can see is that you believe that our enemies will crack under the pressure of fraternity pranks, and that this has been very helpful. Brilliant. You also believe that the US follows our EPA regulations closer than foreigners follow our EPA regulations which don't apply to them. Probably true but not a particularly meaningful data point.
Why the hell should anyone try to read between the insults to try to find any substance in your rants...learn to discuss with out throwing base insults in EVERY SENTENCE or dont expect people to take you seriously...you are just a joke...It was a bit shocking at first, then a bit funny, now its just tiresome, repetitive and sad. I mean you know you are an insulting pr*ck since you are telling someone to read around the insults...stop being that, grow the f-ck up...if you want to be treated as anything more than a silly infantile child, learn to express a thought that isnt riddled with the basest generic insults...until then, dont expect anyone to take the time to read between the insults or to give 2 sh*ts about any contribution you think you have to offer...I cant believ eI am saying this..but you make Midas look level headed and sane. let me guess...I am an idiot...ignorant...Osama bin Drusus, evil...your enemy...blah BLAH
I find the best way to handle someone this obnoxious is to put them on your ignore list and even if they are quoted by another poster, don't read it. They eventually just go away. Really, what would you be missing anyway. Here is my campaign motto: jwevansv for Ignore List O.K. it's not very creative but the results speak for themselves. :high5:
If this were only true, but here again Moen tells it as a Liberal. "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain..." The dumbest member of the United States Senate, California's very own Barbara Boxer, took to the podium, and did something remarkable. She forgot to keep up the lie. She told the truth about the strategy of the Democrats. She let what their view of the Constitution truly is. If Rose Woods, Richard Nixon's legendary secretary, worked at either MoveOn or C-span, the following part of the tape would be missing: Here it is: "Why would we give lifetime appointments to people who earn up to $200,000 a year, with absolutely a great retirement system, and all the things all Americans wish for, with absolutely no check and balance except that one confirmation vote. So we're saying we think you ought to get nine votes over the 51 required. That isn't too much to ask for such a super important position. There ought to be a super vote. Don't you think so? It's the only check and balance on these people. They're in for life. They don't stand for election like we do, which is scary." No kidding. She said it! The truth of the matter is it is the Democrats who indeed are changing the Constitutional requirement, because Democrats like Barbara Boxer don't think the current political makeup is fair. Not only should there be a supermajority, which is clearly unconstitutional, but appointed judges should stand for elections. I wonder if that weathered, pocket-sized edition of the Constitution did backflips in Robert Byrd's shirt pocket when she said that.
I like it when you actually say something you believe without childish insults and name calling or bizarre attempts at humor that fall flat faced across the screen. However, you are all over the place here and I for one can't even figure out what the actual topic is. Are you absolutely sure you were in education at one time?
Guy's I have to ask do you honestly see G W Bush declaring the abandonment of the constitution there are way too many groups within the US both right & left of center who would unite to keep there rights. He could not depend upon the Military to carry out a coup either, please remember soldiers are not stupid & have families. :kewl:
Steve, have you had the chance to meet our local soldier jwevansv? You got to wonder just how dumb a soldier can actually be.
Marines have "different" requirements for raw recruits than the other branches of service. Behavioral patterns which are considered overly aggressive are encouraged and needed to be a 'Trigger Puller.' Please don't associate ones apparent lack of intellect with aggressiveness. They are two entirely different characteristics of an individual. Keep in mind, having been and being a US Marine is an honor shared by very few.
No but in my time I have known a number of US service personnel of all ranks & branches and for the most part I found them to be extremely intelligent and good people. What you have to understand is that the majority of service people don't actually like war they know full well it hurts (Death is kind of permanent) and while there are situations in which troops would take over a country please believe me it woudnt be a hasty sort of thing, your civilisation would need to be visably falling apart. :kewl:
Yah! You sure wouldn't want anyone to find out all our military was DUMB, and how smart you are to have figured that out?:goof:
Marines are the best of the best without a doubt. I'm sure the qualities necessary to become a Marine make them stand apart from the rest of the service groups. I'm just not so sure they can successfully transition back into the mainstream society very well in some cases. The process of becoming a Marine IS one heck of an indoctrination.
Hey, We Agree one something...:high5: Currently they have transition assistance programs for military members who separate from the service. Something which wasn't around back 10 years ago. Used to be many soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines worked up to the day prior of their discharge and all they got was a good-bye handshake. The Veteran Administration (who takes up the slack for those 'addled' troops) is usually the next stop and can be trying as well. Dealing with all the new paperwork will bring the 'meanie' out in anyone...
I'm glad to see that they recognized the problem and are addressing it. I wonder how they missed jwevansv?
