What a joke if this is even remotely true. This 700 billion was so important that we had to rush it through without any thought about what to do with it or how to use it or how to monitor it into order to save ourselves from immediate disaster. And yet, we can save half of it for a few months? Not to mention the half that has been spent hasn't done much to stop the slide.

Since this was the Bush/Obama/McCain Bailout and now Bush and Obama get their cuts, I wonder what McCain gets out of it. Maybe that is what the meeting today was about.

I think Johnny Mac is going to pay off Cindy's boy-toy to go take along vacation on an island with no cameras, internet or television.

You folks bashing the Inquirer are the same folks salivating when they busted Edwards.......you can't have both. They have busted out some stories now, admit it. Remember, dont attack the source, attack the credibility.

Besides, I would not blame her, she is a relativly attractive woman in her 50's ( a milf is pushing it ) , BUT, she owns Budwieser in Phoenix AND she has $400 million.

    I could see that.

I was the one who said the Enquirer gets this stuff right quite a bit when the Edwards story broke so you are preaching to the choir on that one. lol

The bailout happened and the markets crashed anyway. Now the rich are just playing games with it so nobody knows what will happen next. The bail out so far has been worthless to "Main Street".

Bad banks should fail. If one needed to be propped up with bailout money, than all upper management should be let go and replaced so that maybe there just might be a chance they get things right the next time. But even that is an unreasonable request.

We don't even get to know where the money's going! Fox is prepared to sue in order to find out!! The clock is already ticking for their response.

I just read an article that some congressional commitee is going to have oversight hearings tomorrow on the bailout. Talk about closing the barn door after the horse has bolted.
