Moen, where did you get that quote? By "usually used in reference towards his supporters" it sounds like ODS is the state of mind that his supporters have/had. Such as thinking that Obama can do no wrong, that he is the salvation of the downtrodden or that he is the second coming of Christ. Now, certainly those people are deranged and might be afflicted with ODS.

 

I think that preception of the hard core Right is that if Obama crapped gold he do it wrong and in a socialist way. There are lots of definitions of Obama derangement syndrome in the urban dictionary. I just liked this one for some reason. It is defined both as a problem of the Right and of the Left. In either case, it is just as out of touch with reality as it gets.

 

If he crapped gold, that damn socialist would just use it as an excuse to spend twice as much as he crapped.

 

And all you do is defend Obama! Why is that?

 

Well Moen is half correct, Obama is crapping but the problem is that it is all over us.

 

...and the right wing "business" rapists would quickly find a way to acquire it, ship it offshore, stick the public with the costs of shipping it overseas, then blame Obama for the terrible aftermath.

 

... or the liberals would spend the pile, tax all the non-gold-crapping citizens in an effort to replace the pile, deem the new pile insufficient, borrow money against the insufficient pile, raise taxes on the non-gold-crappers to pay the interest on the borrowed money, give lots of money to those who aren't crapping at all, force healthcare on the non-gold-crappers in an effort to keep their crappers working, elect a president who is full of crap, find out his crap isn't really gold.

Because unlike some I am more interested in what the man actualy says rather than the trash that some people on this forum puts forwards as his words The number of times he has been deliberatly miss quoted or had what he says taken out of context or been openly lied about is astounding, I was perfectly happy to do the same for President Bush. I have stated time and time again I personaly woudnt have voted for him, I stated this when he began his campaign (I would have voted for McCain given the oppertunity to do so) but I will challange what I see as blatent untruths about him or what he has done/said then yes I will defend him.

Lets be honest here the problems that your country face are not down to President Obama alone, they are down to the total incompitence of your political class en mass, they created the enviroment that helped produce the economic meltdown, they are the ones who do not have the nerve to take the drastic measures required to put your country back on track and yet you the great American public are too caught up in the left/right blame argument to even see you are on a sinking ship

 

I post the same thing over & over but you just don't listen. I agree BO inherited a tough economy but he got elected on the promise that he knew what the problems were & he knew how to fix them. Now 2 1/2 years later things aren't better...they are much, much worse. It's time for the far left to just admit BO was a failed experiment.
