BO wanting to commit troop in Afghanistan until 2024??

Has anything this guy promised ever turned out to be true?
Wasn't "bringing the troops home" the foundation of his campaign efforts? And now he wants to commit 10,000 use troops & billions of dollars to Afghanistan for the next 10+ years?
Oh yeah, Karzai is requiring that BO issue a written apology (for God knows what) before granting us the privilege!
