This is a golden opportunity for the U.S. energy sector and a chance to damage the Russian economy at the same time. Russia supplies Europe with a sizable amount of energy. BTW, If Russia cannot sell their energy, the Russians will like Putin about as well as Americans like $10 per gallon gasoline unless Keystone, ANWR, the Gulf and many other federal lands are open for drilling. On the other hand, China will take all that Europe doesn't. Net will be minimal (after an initial shake up) unless America opens their reserves.

 

I wonder where you got this from. I know the answer to any question is more drilling and Benghazi with your ilk but the fact is that we already export energy and are poised to become one of the biggest exporters in the world.
