Do you know what the difference between TARP and the Stimulus is? Of course you don't.

Yep! One is the government spending/wasting my money and the other is the government spending/wasting my money.

Yeah, I can give you a couple of examples of BO's wisdom with his shovel ready jobs. How about disrupting an entire cities main thoroughfare or cutting nearly 300 people off from vital services...neither one was needed and both where ordered over the objection of state & local officials.

    Riiiiiight!

CBO’s Estimates of ARRA’s Impact on Employment and Economic Output

    · Raised the level of real (inflation-adjusted) gross domestic product (GDP) by between 1.7 percent and 4.5 percent,
    · Lowered the unemployment rate by between 0.7 percentage points and 1.8 percentage points,
    · Increased the number of people employed by between 1.4 million and 3.3 million, and
    · Increased the number of full-time-equivalent (FTE) jobs by 2.0 million to 4.8 million compared with what those amounts would have been otherwise. (Increases in FTE jobs include shifts from part-time to full-time work or overtime and are thus generally larger than increases in the number of employed workers.)

Just when you thought BO couldn't make things any worse, his henchmen come out with an even more pessemistic economic forecast & everything sinks even further.
This guy must be licking his chops knowing we can wreak whatever havoc benefits him the most & there will still be idiots lining up to support him.

No, I'm licking my chops to return control of this country to the party that created this mess and want to double down by going back to exactly the same policies that got us here in the first place. No wait, that's you.

Hmmmmm I guess still is a faction out there who think BO isn't the raging failure everyone else sees. Or do you just miss the days of lower unemployment, lower gas prices & a AAA credit rating?

All opinions, no facts, speaking for "everyone", and blaming others for the faults of your own party. Since the job loss problem was at its peak when Obama hadn't even set foot in office and the banks were recently found to have caused the spike in gas prices by speculating and it was the Tea Party holding Boner and the rest of us hostage during the debt ceiling manufactured crisis that caused the credit rating downgrade, I just miss the days when the Cons were just regular old obstructionists not fringe whackos bent on destroying this country. Ah the good old days.

That is not it unless they are lying about the amount because the tax package that Obama signed in Dec 2010 was for $858 billion. That $425 billion is probably the making work pay tax cuts or social security payroll cut or the tax breaks for hiring new workers or a combination of them. or something. But not the tax cuts signed in Dec 2010. Otherwise, they severely lied on the cost of the extension in that graph.
