I want to see an audit of just how expensive the government investigation into the Benghazi incident has been. Government waste at it's finest.
Facts: 4 US citizens died in an under-protected diplomatic facility. The ambassador had requested add'l security but his request was denied. Subsequently, he was killed in an attack that was well-telegraphed.
Fact: Stevens turned down extra security twice. Repukes voted to decrease funding for the State Department. Funding that could have been used for more security. The Repukes theory of a cover up is falling apart over and over again. The Repukes have resorted to doctoring emails to make their lies seem plausible.
I asked where your outrage was. So far, I have seen nothing from you when it comes to Bush, who ignored threats and thousands died. You see the comparison between Obama and Bush, then ignore Bush and focus once again on Obama, using Bush, but ignoring his role in the deaths of thousands of Americans. And you don't bat an eye while ignoring Bush.
Well, how about Clinton then? I bet you could tell me just how bad Clinton was at protecting American lives. What about Bush, Sr.? He existed. What about Reagan? His administration was involved with lots of illegal activities. Oliver North being an example. How many innocent American lives were lost during Reagan's time in office? How many of those lives could have been saved if Reagan had only been a competent President, and not let his inferiors cause the Saving's and Loan fiasco? Why didn't republicans learn from that fiasco?
See, I don't subscribe to your revisionist history. Our military actions, under Bush, were conducted with near unanimous support from Congress & the public. The info used to make the decisions came from Clinton himself, every single US intel agency & the intel of our Aliies, a Hussein insider who only recently changed his story, intel from Syria that confirmed Hussein relocated large caches of weapons to that country in order to fool UN inspectors & evidence Hussein had developed & used WMD's against his own people.
Saw a cartoon today that kind of summed it up. Republicans are shouting conspiracy in an empty theater. They desperately need to make something stick and fast, while at the same time not letting slip another revelation that they are busy cooking the facts behind the scenes. Tough job, but I'm not saying they aren't up to it.
All I have to say is OOPS! Read more: http://www.partisanlines.com/threads/benghazi-wing-nuts-want-a-conspiracy-so-badly.50268/page-4#ixzz2qWB2LLUL
