GeneWright, posted: "Around 9 in 10, but I'd remind you that future outcomes shouldn't deprive rights in the present. We are all still innocent until proven guilty." That's a laugh, tell that to the democrats.

"I'd also say guilty pleas are not necessarily all guilty. Our bail system encourages guilty pleas for crimes people did not commit."

If an innocent person wishes to plead guilty, it is their choice. These days the investigations cause folks to go bankrupt hiring layers. It is the "democrat way." I hope the Republicans turn that tactic around and bankrupt every one of those corrupt politicians.

Gene, All these things probably true. We come from two different worlds. You have feelings that run your life, I don't. Your kind puts all kinds of "rules" and "hoops" in the justice system to protect against the slightest chance an innocent person will be saved. This notion is present in everything all the way down to warning labels. I'm different. Our TWO TIERED UNJUSTICE SYSTEM is so corrupt and bogged down with appeals that it cannot be saved. It is all a game.

Example: Someone kills twenty folks on TV and the trial takes years and he rots in prison on my dime. That's money out.

MY WAY: Drag the bum who had a bad childhood out to the street, set up a pay per view torture session that lasts for months before he is dangled into a lake of Crocks so they can jump up and bite off parts of him a little at a time. That's money into the Treasury and a deterrent to other others who actually are deterred.

Be careful . . . while exoneration overturns wrongful convictions, it does not prove innocence.

Just like you to want a second go at the wrongfully convicted. Did you used to have a soul?

    Don't twist the truth . . . my soul's still intact.

Of those who were wrongfully convicted, you and I can both be sure plenty of them did wrong nonetheless, and got off Scott-free because some crooked cop broke with protocol, some lab technician tainted evidence, some lawyer bribed a witness or some judge overstepped his bounds.

That the system let them off the hook doesn't make all of the wrongly-convicted innocent, it merely removes the guilty label.

According to a police spoksman filmed at a press confrence (on You Tube); as of January 1st first, even ACCUSED KIDNAPPERS will not need to post bail! I'll need to check into this .for our lazy, ignorant, progressive, Biden apologists here.

It is so sad :( to post with "Chimp-like" characters who are unable to engage. I'd shoot myself to save the country if I were that IGNORANT!

This is probably true. The process makes the innocent do this. Even examples of political witch hunts in the past four years show this. They bankrupted a patriotic,,decorated, U.S. grneral and threatened his son to make him plead guilty for a phone call that was a part of his job!
