Aside from collecting coins. what other hobbies you like?

past time

singing and karaoke. this is my hobby aside from coin collecting. i taped more than 300 song.

 

Winemaking, playing music, target shooting, genealogy, fishing, Nordic skiing, making bread, deer hunting, collecting native flowers, and coins. Generally in that order.

My wine cellar is a slightly used and restored 150-year-old gold mine.

Other collections, LOL. Well let me see. SPORTS Cards which I'm very slowly liquidating. There are a lot of these and it will take me years NASCAR 1/64 & 1/24 stuff. MIP all of it too from the early 90's thru now. First edition outdoor theme books & various maps. A few native American items, arrow heads, bead work, etc. Hunting stuff a few guns in the cabinet. That's about it.

Here's mine in this order:

1 Coins (Year round)
2 Arrowhead hunting (pretty much only fall/winter/spring)
3 target shooting (when I'm not busy)
4 hunting/fishing (when I get a chance which isn't often)
5 Cars(Although me and my dad are still looking for our first project car, preferrably an old chevy nova)

 

Russian is an amazing language. Right now I am in the first semester of it, so I can't say too much besides "Hello" "Goodbye" and "My brother is stupid" but I am really enjoying it!

 

For me the funny thing about Russian is how it is articulated. At home my wife would sound like she is yelling or angry but in reality she might be saying something to our youngest baby like "my beautiful little flower, why don't you drink the milk of my body and grow to be an oak". Very poetic language but the expression of it's natives, at least those from Moscow, can be harsh.

Tough language you taking on. Good luck with it.
If you ever have a question you should post it for there seems to be around 4 or 5 native speakers who post here and then there is um me. Not really a good choice.

honestly, i liked disco, watch t.v., attend party, concert, internet, and fashion.

 

Collecting and riding motorcycles (just added #10 this weekend, my favorite is a 1950 FL), sports cards, stamps, canoeing, powerboating, fishing, lumberjacking, antique cars, woodworking, woodcarving, metalworking, travelling off the beaten path in 3rd world countries, flying. I agree with bplinson...women are pretty cool also, but since I (we) just celebrated 29 years of marriage on the 16th, I've just been in "look" mode for a long time.

 

If you want to make serious wine, I think you will have to get out of Pennsylvania. My son-in-law's father tries to make wine in western New York. Unless you really like Concord grape juice and Johannesberg Reisling, I am afraid that you are out of luck in the Niagara area . Plus, you can't make wine in a huge walk-in, or walk-out, freezer.

I have 227 gallons going right now. Sauvignon Blanc, Carmine, Carnelian, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel. I don't even drink much. This is crazy.

I would recommend a nice Petite Syrah, about 16 degrees Celsius. The pacific Ocean is optional of course.

 

Russian and Soviet Aviation, and also Space Rockets. I collect models of Soviet aircrafts, and also posters from the War of 1941-1945.

Hmm.. lets see, I play on-line mmorpgs (Everquest 2) and strategic level computer games in general. I love military history, uniformology, researching and painting miniature wargame armies (Napoleonic). Someday I will post pictures of the few Napoleonic coins that I have. I'm actually heading out this a.m. to go to a local convention and maybe get a command in a Trafalgar recreation.

I raise, dodge and avoid 2 kittens (almost cats) and one wife, two of which enjoy helping me work whatever hobby i'm doing, the other just takes it all in stride

I enjoy reading anything military history in nature. oh.. and I bet I'm the only one here that collects DVD's despite my better judgement. Honestly, they just jump in the cart at Best Buys.

 

Hmmm, let's see... well I seem to enjoy modifying my car (something I've really never been into and it's oddly late to start enjoying it at my age). Currently it's a 350z, mostly show. I suppose a picture helps (see attached).

I also run a web hosting forum (some of you who dabble in web hosting may have happened upon a forum or two that I've run or helped run or own). The current project is http://www.HostHideout.com (mods feel free to remove if it is inappropriate to post URLs).

But lately I've mostly been into coins and notes.
