He would watch cartoons like Donald Duck before going to bed...? Ok... Sounds like a result of being forced to take on the role of a hardworking, workaholic adult as a small child and not being able to live out his childhood then. Also, when one doesn't have a routine sleep schedule, plus the constant background noise (classical music, tv, etc.) and the added stress and overworking of course it's going to lead to insomnia and a messed up sleep pattern.
